History Hit
I love History Hit! I can’t live without it!
After dark
Best thing around. More after dark!!
History for history lovers
Been a longtime history hits podcast listener and finally decided to subscribe for the videos. They do not disappoint!
Amazing!
So much choice for history and wonderful experts and historian presenters. My favourite app!
Great value
So lovely to be able to watch things in interested in back to back
History wherever you are!
Love this. As someone who loved history at school and went in to do a degree in history I’ve continued to read and learn all my adult life. So to have access to this site is brilliant. So much variety to choose from, and to include both podcasts as well as tv programmes it is my little piece of heaven. Thank you Mr Snow. You know your audience 👏👏👏

Amazing!
So happy I finally subscribed after a watching on YouTube for awhile. It’s a great deal to have access to literally any and everything history in the app. I didn’t realize how much content they have in addition to what they have in YouTube. Everything from mummies to hauntings and Icelandic witches is on here. Love it! So worth it for how many new docs and fun subjects there are. If you are as obsessed with Eleanor Janega , Dan Snow and Kate Lister the way I am. You’ll love it!

Podcasts
The podcasts are particularly brilliant!
Update Problem
The most recent update of the TV OS version of this app causes an install boot loop. Deleting the app and reinstalling does not fix the problem, and neither does rebooting Apple TV either before or after reinstalling the app.
Not working Apple TV
I’ve been a subscriber for a number of years. Suddenly, they’ve updated the app and I can’t access it. I tried to launch the application and it tells me to update. I go to the App Store and update and I get the same. It works on my iPhone, but will not work on Apple TV. Looks like I have to cancel my subscription. Sad about that.

Fantastic listening
I look forward to listening to History Hit everyday. It is educational, the presenters have voices that are clear, and comfortable to listen to. The presenters sound interested in the topics discussed and their enthusiasm they have for history comes across
LOVE IT!
If you love history this is the app for you. Well worth the small monthly payment. I watch it at home and when I am at the gym or anywhere else by using the app on my phone.
Dedicated presenters
The content is diverse and large. But what I enjoy is the passion and dedication of the presenters. They truly enjoy the exploration, discovery and locations they investigate. They help the viewer not only understand the history, but help give a different perspective and angle on the subject. This is a subscription I will renew.

Love it!
Excellent documentaries on all aspects of history, with brilliant historians.
Not bad
…if the only historical perspective you’re interested in is the British one. This app is great if you’re interested in English history. If you’re looking for diversity or world history, look elsewhere.
Fantastic!
History Hit is the perfect way to augment and illuminate your readings in any era of history.
Awesome
I don’t need anything else to watch
Great resource for history nuts across the ages
As above great spread of resources, audible and visual, across the ages.
There’s always something ..
Always a superior variety of programs or pods to watch or listen to. Pick your era and go from there .
Quality and interesting material
So many interesting stories, archaeology, and experimental archaeology from many eras and cultures. Also, a lot of great in depth looks at historical legends and the truth and archaeology behind them.
