New one isn’t good
The old version had flaws, but they were tolerable. The new version makes me create a whole new profile every week even though I have an account saved. When it changed without warning, it wouldn’t merge my old app data into the new one, so I’ve lost all of that information. This app is not helpful anymore, so I guess I’m back to paper journals.

New version of app needs work
The new version of this app is much worse than the previous. Not only did it delete all my data from the previous version (without warning), but it’s also much harder to use. It’s more difficult to record a past infusion, and it doesn’t allow you to give exact times for infusions. You also now have to click through more screens to record infusions. I wish I hadn’t updated!

They Broke a Working App
I’ve been using the Hizentra app for several years and never had any issues. I couldn’t get it to load, but figured out had to acknowledge two things before it would load. Scanning multiple vials is now more difficult.
Great for Tracking SCIG Infusions
This is a really fantastic app for tracking my Hizentra infusions. Especially with this most recent update where it inputs all the relevant info into the appropriate fields. I use it every week. Well done. 👍🏻
UPDATE New version 3.0.0 QR code scan problem
UPDATE THE NEW RELEASE 3.0.2 fixed the scan problem!!! I have used the app for many year with no problems and after I upgraded to the new version released this week the app reads the QR code on the syringe and does NOT preload the data into the app. I needed to input the data manually. I use a current iPad on the current iOS. Please investigate.

New version sucks
The new version of this app is so much clunkier and more painful to use. Here’s a few reasons:
1. Why do I have to sign in every time? It’s an infusion app, not my bank account
2. Why not use my weight from the last infusion instead of the one I entered a year ago?
3. Recording past infusions (which is how I always do it) is much harder now. There’s no dedicated button for it and no obvious way to record it. Eventually I found it but it was painful.
Did you actually beta test this on real users?

Why Update What Was Working?
The app worked great for the past two years I used it. Then after the update you have to manually put in all the LOT numbers and expiration dates. It takes too much time and effort. From now on, I’ll just not use the app and write in my real journal. Please fix the QR scanner.
Doesn’t work
The old app worked great! This one won’t scan the QR codes. Had to manually enter the information after multiple failed attempts. Won’t time the infusion, just automatically marked the infusion as taking 15 minutes and completed. Too much trouble.
Broken after update
They broke this app so it doesn’t scan the QR codes at all anymore, additionally they forced a password reset, but don’t allow the password format that Apple or Google automatically generate, so I had to figure out which special character they didn’t like and pull them out before it would work, this is a major regression from the previous version. Given the special characters that aren’t allowed, they’re likely doing something stupid in the backend that will expose my health information at some point.
Please do better. This is my health tracking that you’ve broken with your lack of testing and bad changes to behavior.

Helpful But Needs Improvements
This app is absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend using it for your SCIg therapy! However, app developers…please create your own account and try sharing your report. It is a hot mess! There are no hard returns in the Notes area despite those returns being created and appearing in the app. Also, the words are split and continue on the next line awkwardly rather than just appearing in their entirety on the next line. This should be basic programming at this point. These journal entries should be shareable and they are not, in their sloppy format.
Also, can the app developers please include inner and outer thighs as site location options? It would also be helpful to allow me to indicate how many sites I am infusing along with which needle sets (I use various needle sets with various lengths).
Thank you for taking this into consideration and thanks for developing an app for us!

Could be better
The app need so much work. Managing the schedule is not easy. Recording an infusion is buggy and half the time it doesn’t show the completed infusion. Stopping the timer doesn’t always work and I often open it up for my next infusion to see the timer still running. Could be so much better!
Reminders
Cannot get my reminders to work correctly no matter how many times I have contacted the provider. I finally just had to turn them off.

This app is user friendly and easy to navigate
So easy
If you are afraid of doing sub, Q don’t be afraid, I went from seven years of Hospital infusion, to sub Q. What a difference so much better.
Hard to use, doesn’t save infusions.
I’ve tried to use the app, but it only saves a record if things if I log manually. If I tell it to start an infusion it doesn’t save it. So I can’t look back and see what the last locations for the infusion were. They said they don’t have the book anymore, it it was so much easier for me to use. Hate the app. Can’t use it at all for what I need.

Unusable
I event through and did all the set up thinking it would just be the first time. Nope, it requires a full email address, password and new code retrieved from my email account before use. I deleted it and won’t bother using again.
Not great
1.)This app needs some work. It autofills with the wrong dose and weight. If you change these things it goes back to the wrong dose and weight.
2) It needs an option to enter an infusion WITHOUT scanning the box. You should be able to record an i fusion and skip having to have the lot #. This should be simply a note tracking app with some extras but it’s very difficult. If you k ew the volume of boxes and waste from one infusion you would u Detars d that scanning a box may get missed.
3) it’s randomly logging off for “security” and deletes all the data from that infusion
4) should have a simple option to tap a button to track how a patient feels and side effects and then a place to manually enter
4)have a link to be able to email/contact app design team directly from the app on bug issues
5. In 2 years of using this app I haven’t seen any grand upgrades to how it works:(

No More Glasses
Great app. No more trying to read and record tiny numbers and since it’s digital, it’s easy to recall past infusions, set reminders and save a ton of time by simply scanning the QR codes to keep records and record an i fusion. I love it. Blessed to have it.
Worst app I’ve ever used
The app is very buggy and not ready for use. It lost all the data from my recent infusion, and since I no longer have the packaging, the data cannot be entered. You need to change app settings for Face ID because logging in with password doesn’t sync data apparently. Also do the consents immediately upon setup so the developer of this terrible app can store your data in the cheapest countries even if the locations cannot guarantee the same safety as better venues.
