It kills my battery
It is good to have an app provides many Chinese and Cantonese languages radio stations from the world. Connection disconnection should not blame the app. It most likely is caused by the radio servers or your local networks. However, I have a major complaint about this app is it drains my battery so fast. If I forget to close the app, even I am not listening any radio, it kills my battery. If I don’t use this app and with closed, my battery can last for 2 days. If I listen to the radio and forget to close the app, my battery last only half day. So many advertisements feeding to the app and background updates. This app is not a battery friendly app.

Actually, listening to the radio is actively using a network connection which is why you see increased consumption. When you pause, iOS will automatically close the app after an idle period (you will see the player controls disappear from your Lock Screen) This doesn’t have anything to do with advertisements as they do not refresh in the background, they are not permitted by iOS to do that. If you try other media playback apps that stream from the network and not from files pre-downloaded, you will have similar battery consumption.
