What's New in Undertone
1.1
July 12, 2026
Undertone 1.1 — more range, more privacy: • End-to-end encryption — rooms joined by QR code are now sealed with per-person keys. Look for the Encrypted badge in your room. • Extended range — turn on "Help extend range" and your phone can bridge a friend who wanders too far from the group. Voice stays encrypted the whole way; the phone in the middle can't listen in. • Room map — tap the connection badge to see who reaches the room through whom, with live link health. • Sharper radar — finding your friends now works in more places, with honest hints when direction is approximate. Plus reliability fixes and polish throughout.
