The words used by this company like “ perfectly “ or “pro” has No basis in reality, These terms are used as a catch-all to misdirect consumers from actual products that actually perform as advertised.
This company doesn’t bring anything new or pro to the market.

Won’t connect at all
The app doesn’t pick up a connection from the gimbal. Please update..

This really is a piece of junk, just like the Hohem Gimbal I bought.
Pick the right model
You must choose your Hohem model.
Swipe on your smart phone screen and select your model.
Turn your your Hohem on.
This will pair with your smart phone blue tooth.
Now you are ready!

No Bluetooth connection from app to hardware
App will not connect to iPhone 8 12.2. Says it works on iPhone 8 and x but won’t even connect via blue tooth. Their is a Bluetooth connection to the hardware but not the app. Could be a standout product if they would get their app together!

This is app is useless. Won’t connect with my iPhone 8 iOS 12.2.
No legacy support
I have the MG2HGG01 and i am no longer able to use it. It’s just a paperweight now. I would warn against investing in any Hohem gear because your device might just stop working.
Terrible
First, the object tracker does not work. Second, any video I take is saved as a jumbled mess of nothing. Useless.

Will not connect
With this update Hohem Studio will no longer connect with my Hohem MG2HGG01. It used to work fine.

I’m currently using iOS 11 the app needs to be update. When using the app it works fine without the gimbal stabilizer on it such as doing object tracking and face tracking. The problem starts when the app is connected with the gimbal stabilizer via Bluetooth the face tracking is not very accurate it always loss track of your face. When you use the object tracking mode it crashes the app.
If you want to buy a gimbal from hohem tech and plan to use this app don’t be. This app is not reliable.
Hope you fix this and I will update my review.
