Hassle with Cancellation
A platform should enable easy cancellation. However, I had to go through their support service through WhatsApp messages to cancel their subscription. Such pain!!

Every other day, the app on TV creates problems!!!! Even though we are premium subscriber, the app on TV frequently doesn’t recognize that!!!
Worst customer service
I made a purchase but unable to see the subscription. Tried to reach out to customer service but everytime gets an autogenerated email and bot in WhatsApp app support.
Fraud
Horrible app. Have cancelled the subscription yet it is such a fraud that it continues to deduct from my account
Unstable and bad app
Many bugs and issues in the app. Don’t use the app. It doesn’t work well. “no internet connection” is a regular issue on playback. Internet and WiFi exists, but the issue persists. App data and cache clearance does not fix the issue. Uninstall and installing it again does not fix the issue. Support is non-existent. Don’t waste your money with this subscription.

Glitchy App but high quality content
The content quality is excellent. However, the app experiences frequent glitches. Notably, certain videos fail to stream via Google chromecast or Apple TV, hindering seamless playback or TV.

Hoichoi happily takes your money, then locks your subscription to one country like it’s 2005. Travel once and your paid account becomes trash — no warning, no refund, no shame. This isn’t a streaming service, it’s a cash grab wrapped in arrogance. Anti-user, greedy, and downright pathetic.

Hoichoi is a great platform with strong regional storytelling and unique content. I really enjoy the variety of shows and films available. However, I would love to see more romance-drama series, similar to what Korean and Chinese dramas are offering.
Many young people in India are actively watching K-dramas and C-dramas on other OTT platforms because of their emotional storytelling, strong chemistry, and engaging love stories. If Hoichoi creates high-quality romance dramas with modern themes, it can easily attract more young audiences and even users from other OTT platforms.
Love stories always connect deeply with viewers and tend to perform very well. Investing more in this genre could help Hoichoi grow its audience base and increase business as well. I hope the team considers this suggestion. Looking forward to more exciting content!

Poor quality
Got the app to watch some old movies like it had before. None available. Movies don’t buffer. Extremely poor quality quality of picture and most of them don’t play. Only blank screen on the tv.
The app had issues before and still exists. Only the marketing has changed. Plz don’t buy the yearly plan. First buy the monthly to verify if it even works or has selection to watch.
