Lots of serious flaws in concept
This is a resource scheduling app that does NOT help you find intersections of availability for critical resources.
I use it to schedule aircraft and instructors, but the only way to actually find a viable time window is to use the website to open multiple windows for each resource and manually compare busy times.
The entire concept is backwards. Show me available times, not busy times, then show the intersections of those available times.
The app is entirely web based and uses a very slow backend. Every click or keypress is sent back to the server, so it takes minutes just to enter your reservation.
You inexplicably HAVE to enter a comment for every reservation or it does a round trip to the server (slowly) and then rejects the reservation with a pop-up dialog you have to click the button on. Then you click on the comment field, wait for the server, type your comment (usually “aaa”), wait for the server, then submit again.
And finally, the absence of an iPad version is notable for all the pilots who use their iPad as a kneeboard.

Buggy app
The app hangs all the time and won’t update. Spinning wheel with no action. Close the app and reopen and still does the same. Is it talking to server and timeout? Or something similar? Have to go to website URL all the time to complete or change appts.

Still an absolutely garbage scheduling software
After having the developer respond saying “not a lot of real feedback, please be more descriptive. I think you’re just having a bad day” heres my review on a good day:
App slow and unresponsive. Booking an instructor as a pilot does not have it show up on the instructor schedule which is a bad design. Use flight circle or flight schedule pro instead.

Updated response: "App slow or unresponsive" - We are not seeing this in our reports. You'll need to send us a video of your user experience for us to debug. "Booking an instructor as a pilot does not have it show up on the instructor schedule which is a bad design." You indicated that you had an issue where a new student didn't have an account. We have two other solutions for this: 1) you can ask your administrator/owner to enable the "No Pilot Required" option. This will allow bookings without pilots selected. You can add yourself as an instructor as normal. 2) your admin can add a generic student account that can occupy the Pilot field. For instructions on how to do this, contact our support.
Terrible program
I have used flight circle for years at two different locations and it’s awesome and easy to use. Holdshort is the exact opposite. It is just terrible and difficult to use
