Too much of nothing

The coldness of the air is horrible, such little air blows. And to set up the app requires way too much privacy. It even needs the Internet Connection for what? Nothing about this fan is good.

Good Fan, But Scheduling and Timer Design Needs Improvement

The fan works well overall and setup was easy.

The issue is the scheduling design. You can set a start time, but there’s no way to set an automatic cutoff within the same schedule. The timer exists, but it’s separate and can’t be tied to a schedule. That makes it impossible to fully automate something simple like turning the fan on and off at specific times.

Adding an “off time” or duration option to schedules would fix this.

Also, the fan sounds like it’s straining a bit on lower speeds.

Solid product, but the app needs this improvement.

Smh

Unfortunately it doesn’t work well using IOS! My iPhone 13 Pro Max doesn’t even locate or connect. Now I have a fan with no remote how sucky is that

Can't Disable the Beep

I'm able to disable the fan beep from the remote, but I can't do so from the fan itself or the app. I wish I could do it from the app...

Bad app

The fan works great so far, I’ve been trying to connect it to this app for 30 minutes now and it refuses to connect. Tried different WiFi networks, different methods, anything

Bad Bluetooth

Wouldn’t let my fan connect to my phone after I’ve done what it’s said.

good but can be improved

Its a nice option but i want to see a more personalized schedule. I want to be able to set it for my pet when i have to leave for work. Also the time selection is in military time. please change it to regular pacific time such as 9:30pm

A Diamond in a Sea of Terrible Apps

I’ve been using it for all of a minute and I already like it more than most big-company (in unrelated industries) apps because it does what it needs you to do and it appears to do it well. I wish it had a toggle button right on the main page that would be on if ANY of my fans are on so that I could simply toggle it off to toggle any fan and all fans off without having to go into each individual fan’s section (like in the Philips Hue app).

Wi-fi doesn’t connect

Wi-fi doesn’t connect, I had to return the item.

Simple & Easy to use

The app is simple to use also seems very optimized for android and iPhone users.

App and Google Assistant is bugged

Would be a great app but when trying to connect to my Google home assistant, the app keeps rerouting back to the Holmes app. Therefore, not able be a smart fan.

Crashing

App wont let me sign connect to Google Assistant. Every time I select the option to link the accounts, it sends me to the google home app and then right back to the holmes app in 2 seconds time.

Requires a cloud account

The wifi connectivity requires a cloud account with Holmes’s awful privacy policy (plus look at all the spying this app does) and does not work without an internet connection.

This doesn’t work with HomeAssistant at all.
