Not good. Beware of the AI scanning
I wish they offered a cheaper tier to start but it’s either a month or yearly. It’s only after purchase that it shows that you can purchase a weekly subscription which I would have done to try it out. So far out of 10 cards scanned, it shows that my cards are considered custom which I don’t have custom cards, it’s all authentic cards. For such an inaccurate subscription you would think that it would be good but no. Tried to get a refund but couldn’t so I would definitely not recommend this app.

Grades off
90% of the cards just come back as 9.3 doesn’t matter how it looks. Even scanned a really beat card and put that it’s damaged and it came back an 8.3😂 this isn’t very accurate I’ve come to find out. Save your money
Love this
I find it my duty to commend this most admirable application, for it hath proven itself a faithful companion to the discerning collector. Its faculty of scanning cards is executed with remarkable precision and swiftness, affording estimates of quality that are both dependable and enlightening. Such careful workmanship inspires great confidence in the appraisal of one’s collection.
Most extraordinary of all is that these excellent services are bestowed freely, without the burden of payment. In an age where many seek reward before merit is shown, this application offers generosity hand in hand with excellence. I therefore recommend it without hesitation to any gentleman or lady devoted to the noble pastime of collecting trading cards.

When I got HoloDex pro it said 3$ a month but the game made me do 40$ a year

Doesn’t work for sports cards at all after I paid and I can’t delete it bad app
AI Grade Doesn’t Match the Condition Description
I really like the idea behind HoloDex’s AI grading, and the interface is clean and easy to use. However, my recent grading report exposed a major inconsistency that makes me question the reliability of the results.
My card received an overall AI grade of 6.4, but the app labeled it as “Excellent–Near Mint.” The detailed analysis then described:
* Edges (4): Severe whitening and chipping along the back.
* Corners (5): Significant whitening and wear on all four corners.
* Surface (6): Multiple scratches, scuffing, and staining.
* Centering (9): Good centering.
The summary even states the card shows heavy signs of play and wear and that the edge and corner damage significantly lowered the grade.
Those descriptions clearly do not match a condition labeled “Excellent–Near Mint.” A 6.4 and comments describing severe wear should not be presented alongside a Near Mint condition.
I’m not upset about receiving a 6.4 if that’s what the AI believes the card deserves. My concern is that the condition label contradicts both the numerical grade and the written analysis. If new collectors rely on these labels, they could easily misunderstand the true condition of their cards.
I hope the developers review the grading scale or fix this apparent bug because the AI analysis itself has potential. Consistency between the grade, condition label, and written report is essential if users are going to trust the app.

Really useful
This app has lots of features and is very useful to help track your collection, although there are a few features that cost money but I’m really happy with this app.
AI grading costs money
Ai grading being a cost for such an immature, unproven product with no way to test or sample the feature before you decide to spend money on it is wild.
Paid and lost everything
I paid for one month to grade a couple cards, it didn’t save any of my graded cards; I essentially paid for nothing because now i don’t have the notes or grades. Such a waste!
Uggh
Doesn’t work cant make pro
Love it
I got a 696 pours yay
Better than tcg player
So good
Useless garbage
The best feature, AI grading is paywalled. Not worth downloading
Easy and Useful
Such an easy and useful tool for your collection. It’s so simple with the pictures, keeping all your cards in one online place. The one major downside is that you can’t get free grading, and there’s only a certain amount of free pictures until you have to buy more. I was thinking of buying a subscription, but there’s no free trial, so I won’t be buying it now. In conclusion though, it is very convenient.

Slow and buggy
Crazy bug where tapping to view a card detail hides cards in review underneath the bottom menu and is almost impossible to get back. So many performance issues when searching for cards. Sucks I already logged most of my collection with this. Would suggest going with almost any other alternative
One of the worst apps
I’m on an iPhone 17, this app is so frustratingly slow to track my cards. Not only does not add to your collection after you press collect it asks you to review the cards. Pressing collect is not immediate either there’s a lag so you could press the button a couple of times and end up duplicating. Oh and every time you add cards to your collection manually their dumb subscription ad shows up.
