In desperate need of a replacement motor modular or two or three.
I’ll pay you big bucks or at least double what they cost plus shipping and your time because I spent ten grand on getting these specific blinds custom fit to all of my windows. Do I regret not spending the extra 5099 and getting the Lytton shades? Absolutely. But less than a year after I installed them done if the larger windows had motors that started to fail. It wasn’t so bad at first cus the motor modules were pretty cheap and I figured eventually they would have that Google home integration that the box advertised as “coming soon to Alexa and Google home !” Yeah right false advertising. Anyway as you all know these were discontinued like three years ago now and Lutron doesn’t make any blinds that match these and obviously to sell the house I need to have all the blinds matching and last but not least another 15 grand to replace all the blinds in my house because one motor is broken is just not feasible right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated also this app is bad but bit the literal worst. .

Frustrated
The blinds are great. They have worked well with no problems for years. The app is terrible and frustrating. It freezes up and you have to delete the app and reinstall it again in order to move forward to the calibration stage. If you get these blinds just pray you never have to take them down and put them up again. It will stress you out!!!

Update?
When is there going to be in update? This app is in serious need of updating!
So much potential, great price point…
The shade themselves are pretty good. Well worth the money spent. The App? Absolute garbage. We’ve had our shades over a year. Frequent loss of pairing, re-calibration and function. Why have there been ZERO updates to the app for over three years? Where is the “promised” (it is listed in their FAQ that Alexa/Google interface is projected for future development) interface? No update effort at ALL by the developer. That Home Depot still sells these shades and apparently has done nothing to assist their customers pressure the developer to correct the app is very bad business.

Hardware works perfectly. No regrets. Software could be improved
From all the nightmares and hassles people have with automatic blinds, this solution is one of the best.
The price is the most affordable one. The platform that allows to use motorize or not, well design.
I made the mistake of not purchasing the remote control. I can not find one by it self.
The application does not allow connectivity though Home automation. But you can schedule them using the app. The app connect using Bluetooth only. You set your schedule and that’s it. It has been 3 years or so , and the blinds still open and closed. One of them gets out of sync in time (somehow the clock runs faster in that one ).
The app needs update. Possible to invent a hub for home automation.
But in general I am happy with the solution.

The app is horrible
Has this even been updated ever?
App interface is garbage!
Like others have said the motor itself works well. It’s the app that’s garbage. It unpairs, will not repair. I deleted the app reinstalled-tried to get it all going again and the app tells me my Bluetooth is not connected(it is) and I cannot move on from that frustrating spot. Horrible app!!! Do not buy these motors unless you buy the remote.

Most frustrating app
This app is the most frustrating app ever. It looks like the last update was 2 years ago, so it seems this company does not care at all. It could be so great, what a shame.
Unsupported app
The app has not been updated in over 2 years and there is no way to contact the dev. Clicking on Support directs you to the home page for all product at Home Depot.
To use, open app then wait for the blinds to finish connecting then they will work. The scheduling is not based on sunrise or sunset, just specific times of day.

It works, not much else
Open app, select room where shades are then tap each shade to connect. Then you can set a very basic schedule. The schedule can’t use sunrise or sunset, just a specific time of day. If you click on the support link, it opens a Home Depot webpage showing product. No way to contact support.
Worked at first - then added a second blind
The good: the actual motor and blind work great. There is plenty of torque in the motor to operate their largest size shade. Also the battery lasts over a year before needing a recharge.
The bad: the motor and shade are rather noisy. If you are imagining the quiet, subtle sound of the shade moving up and down, prepare for disappointment. You are paying ~ $100 so you are getting a lower grade smart home unit.
The ugly: the Bluetooth connectivity is garbage. Your phone will lose pairing with the blind periodically and will not easily re-pair to the blinds. So effectively you lose control to the blind from the smart phone app Bluetooth has been around for over two decades so there is no reason for the app + over-the-air connection to be so crappy.
Final words: I'm going to buy a remote next to see it it works better than the app. The hardware was built right. However, The app needs serious redevelopment before I could recommend this smart blind solution. Too bad: The Home Depot was so close!

Worked as advertised
This was pretty simple to use, had a good experience. I know there are a lot of negative reviews but maybe they made some updates recently because my experience was pretty seamless. Was easy to connect to each blind, calibration was easy, and setting the schedule was easy. Literally ran into no issues through the process.

Poor Implementation. No updates.
This App is poorly implemented.
1. When calibrating a new shade it requires setting the start point, then the bottom point, then a mid-point. Only in that order. I want to set the mid-point second, not third.
2. One shade lost its pairing. After a reset, the iPhone doesn’t see the device to forget it, but the App won’t reconnect.
3. The remote can pair with a calibrated shade. A second phone can’t, the phone is forced to recalibrate the shade. Why?
There have been no updates to this app for over a year.

App vs shade
I’ve had my shades installed for about four months now and they’re great for the price point. It is difficult to tell which issues are caused by the app and which are the fault of the shade motor, but things have been okay. Set your expectations low and you’ll probably have a good time. The motors are loud, but this was a great option for the clerestory windows in my bedroom. After about a month, the clock values are off by 2-3 minutes so the shades are out of sync with each other and their schedule. Opening the app and giving them a few seconds to connect fixes that problem without any fuss. It takes a couple of seconds sequentially to connect to each shade you are within range of. I rarely use the app to control the shades as I have all three paired to one remote and normally use that when it’s necessary. The schedule function only lets you set times in 15 minute increments, which is mildly annoying. The app is pretty simple otherwise and easy to use.

Shade app widget please
Please make a shade app widget. It should be in the API
Enhh
Motor works great, manual app operation works well but, Please fix the app and create a reliable timed operation. The app disconnects, will not maintain background connection reliably and will not work reliably.
Single phone control
App works well enough for one phone. However, my wife downloaded the app and has complete control. When she leaves the house I cannot access the blinds or have an option to be added to the app. In order for me to use the app I have to reconnect the blinds to my phone. Developers should’ve thought functionality all the way through. Please create an update to where multiple users can control the blinds. I forgot to mention, the blinds I installed are located on the upper level of the house and I don't feel like using my 18ft ladder every time I need to synchronize them to my phone.
