The worst tech ever
It’s seems like no one has ever put any consideration into actually having the tech work. Takes forever to load. Constantly malfunctions. Doesn’t connect to the hardware. The list goes on.
No update or way to troubleshoot problems
Can not connect my pod and there’s no way to troubleshoot shoot it from here.

This app would be alot better if it allowed you to use all smart home brands. I don’t want to pay 100 dollars for a single Hue light bulb.

我的第一代 Aqara Hub（ZHWG11LM）网关已经被小米和Aqara 嫌弃了，连他们自己的 App 都不愿意再支持自己的产品，在你这里Apple Home 居然还可以正常使用。
现在我甚至可以直接对 Siri 说：「Siri，关网关的灯」，它真的就把网关自己的彩色灯关掉了。😄
别人家的逻辑是：设备老了 → 不支持 → 换新的。
Apple Home 却是：哦？第一代？还能用？那就继续用呗。😎
希望 Apple Home继续保持，哪天能看到更新的、更方便的功能展现，不要轻易放弃那些还能正常工作的老设备！

this is barely functional. when it does function it’s like fine i guess nothing special, but holy mother of god when it stops working so does my entire gd house. i just changed internet services and it has been a nightmare. im going insane. i just reinstalled every lightbulb in my home and it’s only sometimes recognizing any of them. i mean it was having trouble getting them to turn off before but it was at least RECOGNIZING them on the old wifi. seriously what on earth is happening, i factory reset every. single. bulb. what more do you want from me?

Apple failed on this one
This app is buggy and always has been. It often says there is a “network issue” with devices that work fine. Updates to individually speakers take forever and often don’t resolve issues. It’s very annoying and I am always hoping there will be a major update that improves the UX and actual functionality of the hardware… but it never comes.

Garbage app
I cannot get Home to start up any Philips Hue color program accurately. It just assigns random colors to a few random lights. Very disappointed.
Stuck for 8 years
Stuck on “Loading Accessories and Scenes” still 8 year later after this problem became rampant across iPhone users. Ridiculously difficult app to work with since it, well, won’t work with you. At all. I’m not resetting and erasing my entire life off of this phone just to get one stupid app to mayybeee start working again, especially when it never really did. Apparently that’s what it takes. Do not recommend it.

Sits and spins indefinitely
I’ve never used this app until I had to update it for a third party app that uses it somehow. I’ve tried several times to update it, trying several different things like deleting it then redownloading it, but it just spins and spins saying it’s “updating home” and that it will take a “few minutes” to update. I let it spin for over an hour, and then gave up. Can’t believe it’s an Apple app!
