Horrible durability
I was spying on my buddy painting his rifle in the garage and a pranked him by making monster noises, then he shot the camera! Donโt prank with this cam! Cannot handle 2k 433 version .iud shotgun bullets!
Not really okay
its not bad but i just wanted to turn the AC into cooling, but after i do that, it keeps on turning back to heating, and judging by all the other reviews, i will not recommend it, unless you like getting raigebaited:(
DONโT USE
Do not buy the Home Pod!! It has to connect to this and mine has suddenly started randomly playing music and it wonโt stop. Thereโs no way to turn this stupid thing off!!
Does NOT update
Software tries to force me to switch to two factor authentication, which is NOT an option regarding MY security. I do not care about Apple security. When I decline, update quits.
Bottom line - DOES NOT WORK AT ALL.

Dropped home pod
Constantly my home pod get disconnected from the home app. Which then takes away my cameras and doorbell. The app keeps telling me the apple account is incorrect when itโs the same account logged into my phone, computer, watch and iPad. This app seems buggy and not reliable.
Buggy
Doesnโt sync with other apps and very buggy. Get your stuff together, Apple
This thing sucks
The app works maybe 15% of the time. Nothing ever connects. I could go on forever please donโt use this app
I gave up on it
I found the app was cumbersome and didnt link up with all my smart home devices very consistently. I just use the apps now that come with the devices. Much more reliable and more streamlined in their use. Come on apple. Do better.
Broken
Apple updated the app so that when you have smart light bulbs connected to both Alexa and Apple now you get non stop security notifications that your light bulbs have joined another family called Alexa. Had to turn all my notifications off. Horrible QA here.
Garbage
Absolute trash of an app. Your devices donโt communicate well at all, with one another. Overpriced. Underwhelming performance and OVERwhelming troubleshooting process.
Minimal support in the admin threads. Minimal info on setup and what to do if you get a red ring on a HomePod. Apple TV, useless with home app.

I regularly struggle because the hub regularly says devices arenโt responding.
Apple home report
There could never be a smart home act better than this. You help me with my everyday life super fast automation. I can turn on any lights any air conditioning the shower or maybe even the fridge

HomePod Audio Just drops
HomePod Audio Just randomly goes silent, I can see the audio progress going, HomePods on full blast but canโt hear nothing. This is an awful experience
Difficult to add accessories
I continually have issues adding accessories directly to Home. Even when they say compatible with home. I recently purchased a 4 pack of WiFi plugs. Added the first one with no issues but it wonโt add the rest. Rebooted phone and still wonโt work. It shouldnโt be this hard.
What can you even do with this app
Itโs like a basic template, canโt do anything .
Itโs Very glitchy
Being an Apple person and having all Apple products I feel trapped using this Home app. I regularly canโt access my products. At the moment it says all my Philips Hue products are not available. But I can access them all perfectly well via the Hue App.
