First two things weren’t customizable: 1. Need to share with other family members who don’t have Apple, they use Google and something else; 2. First thing was to customize HVAC, but couldn’t change frequency (we have issues here requiring more frequent changes). Will check back another time. Best wishes!

Product info is hit or miss
I’ve attempted to enter several products with the name and model information that have come up with the incorrect product, incorrect image, or not found at all. There should be an option to correct incorrect data but there doesn’t appear to be an option for that. In some cases the information the equipment pulled up was for women’s bra, or mens shorts, also had a shoe that showed up as an option. Each time I double check the product information entered and it’s correct. They need a better search function and the ability to make corrections if the wrong data is found by the search function. When it works it’s great. When it doesn’t it’s pointless and makes me wonder why I would keep using the app. I can see the potential, but the execution needs some work.

I've tried other home maintenance apps and they were either too complicated or hid everything behind a paywall. Great App!
I've tried a few different apps to stay on top of home maintenance and most of them are either too complicated or too basic. HomeBeacon hits the right balance. Setup was quick — I added my home, selected my maintenance schedule, and it started sending me reminders without me having to micromanage every detail.
The equipment tracking is genuinely useful. Being able to store warranty info, manuals, and maintenance history in one place has already saved me time when something needed service. The seasonal reminders are well thought out and the mobile app makes it easy to check things off on the go.
Free plan is legitimately useful — not a watered-down demo. Highly recommend for any homeowner who wants to stay proactive without the mental overhead of building their own spreadsheet system.

Highly recommended!
I’ve really enjoyed using HomeBeacon. It helps me keep track of all the little home maintenance tasks that are easy to forget, and the reminders make it much easier to stay on top of things. I also like that it provides suggestions for the materials needed for different projects, which saves time when planning repairs or upkeep. Overall, it’s ab extremely useful, well-organized app that makes homeownership feel a little less overwhelming!
