Truly an awful app for an incredible product
The Drift is so cool but the connectivity on this app is so unbelievably bad it should be embarrassing for homedics. Doubt we’ll see any improvements on the app anytime soon either…
I'm sorry but this app is horrible
I love the drift, but it's frustrating when you can't use it because the app is horrible and it doesn't work! It doesn't let me download patterns, blames my wifi, but that's NOT the problem! PLEASE fix your app because you have a great idea... Just need a way to use it!!!
App doesn’t work
Love the product. It’s very cool and relaxing when it works… when being the key word. The app is trash. Nothing loads and I’m basically guessing when it’ll turn on and off because it’s so glitchy. App needs a major overhaul.
Love it But Hate It
I love the Drift concept, however the app that runs it is terrible! I can’t download patterns. It says it is downloading but doesn’t. I have done every possible researched trouble shooting to no avail. So disappointed in this app. Come on Homedics….Fix This!!!

Reinstall constantly still not connecting. Took me hours to try to connect still issues waste of time very frustrating.

Download issues
I love the patterns I can use, but there are more that I can’t. It says to download the pattern, but doesn’t download. Please fix this. I have tried on apple and android and the issue is the same. You keep adding new patterns, but they can’t be used. This is very disappointing for the money we pay for it. It is supposed to be relaxing, but it is frustrating.

I gifted this to my mother for Christmas and the app is extremely buggy. We have full WiFi and phone service and when trying to download several patterns at once it just stops in the middle and says to make sure we have WiFi and it never even disconnected or went out. If we try to download a pattern by itself a screen shows that it’s downloading, gets past 45% then closes and the pattern stays grayed as if we never downloaded it, just to find out we have to COMPLETELY exit the app and reopen it after ever SINGLE (ONE) pattern we download because that is the only way it shows up. It’s become annoying to try and use when it’s supposed to be calming….

Buggy App
I got a sand tray for Christmas and I’ve been struggling with the app.
When I create a playlist it won’t download all the images I want to include, if I try to download them individually it says they downloaded but remain grey in the lists… and it never shows what playlist I am watching, it always says demo… and it reverts settings to increase the sound volume (though there’s nothing playing) and the brightness of the light on its own.
I’ve downloaded the app on multiple devices and still have the same issue.
I’ve emailed customer service multiple times and no one responds.

Needs fixing
I love my drift table. The app has some major glitches. I try to download new patterns and it will say download 100% complete, but then when I click on it again it asks me to download the pattern. I’m stuck in a loop. I’ve tried everything from uninstalling the app. Resetting. Disconnecting the table and reconnecting to Wi-Fi. I have 80 patterns downloaded so far and there are well over 250+ available that I have yet to enjoy. Please fix.

for such an expensive product, the app is extremely buggy, unresponsive, and difficult to navigate in any way that makes sense. for some unknown reason, tonight all of my saved patterns disappeared, and when i go to download them again, the ‘play’ button never shows up. i’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, reset the device, reset my phone… come on y’all!

Great product, app makes it useless
I WANT to like this. I got it as a gift and it worked when I set it
up. 30 minutes later, the app doesn’t work. I can turn it on and off, but that’s about it. All of the items and icons on the main app page don’t show up.
It concerns me that this is basic stuff and the app hasn’t been updated in so long. It seems like the Drift product line is being abandoned. Maybe they will update the app in the future but before I buy this again (I’m having the gift giver return it), I would check the reviews to make sure all of these basic bugs have been worked out.

Simply awful
I received this as a Christmas Gift which I super excited about - these aren’t cheap. Guess my parents spent a ton of money on a bowl full of sand because this app does not work. Shame on you - there’s no other way to make it work.
App doesn’t work for long
I have to delete and reinstall app constantly because it stops working with my drift. I can’t even download any patterns. My drift is useless. Don’t waste your money.
Brick
Does not work at all. After connected days it needs firmware upgrade . Then firmware upgrade fails and you cannot get beyond that screen, completely useless. Item does nothing without app control.
Hasn’t worked in a month
Cool product but dang it just stopped working a month ago. Makes the product that wasn’t cheap worthless. Won’t buy another product from the manufacturer.
Can’t download patterns
I received my Drift for Mother’s Day. All was working great for the first few weeks. For months now I haven’t been able to download any patterns and I lost the ones I downloaded when I first got it. This latest update did not fix the problem. I do have some patterns that work but there are so many more I want.
