It’s a fine app, ONLY when it decides it wants to accept my information

I have never written a review for an app in my 15+ years of owning Apple products. But this app has pushed me over the edge. Something needs changed. It has nothing to do with the bank side of things. It actually is really good for showing me my current finances and what money is available to me as transactions occur and fees come out. ONLY when it will actually load. Most of the time I cannot even get it to accept my username and password to sign in. It always starts by using face ID to log me in, and on rare occasions it works perfect the first time. But usually, it gives me an error message. It says it’s unable to log me in at this time. To contact *insert phone number* for assistance. And resets to the blank login page. So I type in my user and password (correctly, as I have to do this so often my bank password is as engraved in my brain as my own phone number), hit log in, and it loads and thinks for a few seconds before popping up the same error message. It gets so frustrating, especially in a pinch where I need to know my balance asap. Force closing the app and retrying doesn’t work. It’s not my service, because when that happens I check my wifi signal or cellular service, and check that the other apps are loading properly. It just won’t accept my information. I end up having to go to safari and onto Homeland CU’s online banking login page to get into my account, assuming it will let me in. Which isn’t the worst thing, but it is inconvenient and takes more time and at that point why do I even have the app taking up space on my phone? I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s probably how the app is programmed. I don’t know how any of that works, but it is so buggy and unreliable. This is me asking the creator, please update or upgrade whatever system you’ve currently got in place that is so bad and consistently not giving me the information it’s meant to. I just want to see my account balance on the app without jumping through hoops of restarting the app and typing when my Face ID should work! I shouldn’t have a problem logging in with the correct information that has been the same for so long. I’ve been a member at Homeland CU for more than 12 years. It’s a great banking center, I’ve had a lot of great experiences with them. However, the low quality of this app doesn’t reflect that of the bank. It surely needs some fixing.

Awesome

Wish it had a feature for other people on the account. I have to text my husband for the code every time I log into mobile app

Out of date

Maybe it’s time for an update?! Crashes or freezes constantly. Have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times.

Horrible

Worst app I’ve ever seen. Login does not work. Continually sends you back to the login screen after logging in. Starting to regret depositing money here. Fortunately I can login from Homelands website, just not from the app.

Doesn’t work

Cant even log in to the app it takes me back to the log in page.
