I Love Homes and Gardens but absolutely hate this new app!
Avoid!
To avoid frustration avoid this app! I paid a yearly subscription and what a waste of money. The whole idea was to be able to use it on my iPad and I cannot view it at all. Crashes all the time to the point I have to restart my device and on top of that I cannot view the issues I’ve paid for as it does not recognise my Apple ID while I’m clearly signed up if I am writing this review, am I? Technical support ignores my emails and I am stuck and paying for nothing. DON’T DOWNLOAD!

Can’t access it....it was a Mother’s Day Present but can’t log in.
Unbearable
Every month I've had this app there has been an issue! Not being able to gain access to the app, the app crashing after a couple of pages and many emails and calls to resolve the issues. I think I just skip the app next time and buy the hard copy if at all!
Latest update has blocked my access to my subscription
The latest update to this app has locked me out of my subscription so I cannot access any of the magazines I have already purchased. The ‘contact us’ link is the same as the ‘feedback’ link so no idea if I will get a reply or any help!
Half a mag
Please be careful when using these apps. You pay full price for the magazine but you are only allowed to view one single page at a time, no double page spreads. Apparently you have to take out a subscription before you are allowed the privilege of viewing a double page spread. Bizarre, yes , frustrating, yes. I won't be purchasing the digital version again.

The digital subscription does it work and the support group is nonexistent. Once they have your yearly/monthly subscription fee, it's too late, no service.
From my experience I would advice anyone to stay away from this terrible group, timeinc they Seem like a complete sham just there to take your money.

Great photography
Great magazine with beautifully executed photographs that are refreshingly English. Such a change from the over-processed 'real estate' photography from across the pond.

Fabulous
I love this app so much I haven't got round to taking the wraps off my last 3 postal issues. It presents beautifully on iPad, so quick and convenient to reference and page through, no negatives for me - all good ☑️
Poor
After being a regular reader of the magazine for as long as I can remember, I succumbed to the iPad version after mistakenly thinking I could sign up and get the first copy free to try it!
When I subscribed I wasn't automatically given a free month and I was charged from day one, but I could live with that.
The Dec issue was great and I thought I had the answer to the problem of storing recipes. Well, after downloading Jan I could no longer access Dec yet I had paid for both!
Sorry but this has tested me to the limit and well beyond the normal effort required to read a magazine.
I'm cancelling March unless I get a fix for Dec. already the helpline doesn't recognise my subscriber number so no help coming my way yet!

I am amazed at how easy this app is to use and really enjoyed the magazine in digital format, to my surprise. It is so easy to navigate and take pictures for personal design ideas, that is a real gem. Brill

Excellent App. Good to see rooms almost in 3D. Downloading current issue was much easier and quicker than in previous issues. I haven't tried to download older issues so can't comment. I read the magazine and use the App, well worth the subscription.

Fed Up
I cannot tell you how many HOURS of wasted time I have spent trying to download this app. I purchased my subscription direct from IPC and was told I can download to my IPad. Well I for one won't be bothering anymore. After numerous attempts, calls and emails this is just not working. Could it be me? I don't think so I managed to download the Ideal Home app okay. Please get this app sorted or I will just use the old fashion way and read my magazine turning the pages between my fingers!

I love being able to read this on my iPad when I'm on the move or in France. The only small improvement I could envisage is if it could be viewed in landscape mode too...
Not a good app at all.
I found it very irritating that when I try to download a past issue I can't. I bought, I think the September addition and have tried a number of times to download it and it still will not download fully. This has stopped me from buying another addition because I am afraid it will happen again.
Loving the December edition
So enjoying reading the December edition just as easy as a paper magazine so many interesting articles and photos. Providing ideas for the festive season and I am already ordering items viewed on some pages from the relevant websites.
Good app
It is a good app giving access to iPad version of the magazine for free along with my 2 yr print subscription. But I would like to see the ads as in the paper version. Also download speed needs to improve. Monthly edition updates need to be quicker.
