Great app
We have enjoyed this app from the beginning and are very sad it is being discontinued . It was the only app my son really took to learning from and that kept his interest. It was also great because this program didn’t require a laptop, being an app my son could learn anywhere.

I had no choice to purchase
Having a son with Autism, I had no choice to purchase this even though there’s still lots of bugs, books isn’t working, and the sound isn’t right in a part of the reading academy on the ABC Track, if it’s supposed to mimic a robot, then it is not sensory processing friendly with the volume going in and out. If continues to glitch and we are doing the same lesson over and over again, because it freezes up and we end up having to do a wrong answers. My math ended up being totally different and we enjoyed the old ways and again we get kicked out due to glitches Again, it’s not cost friendly and I won’t be using it for homeschooling, because I am just buying 2 major programs and a lot of other programs that have been taking off of good ol’ ABC Mouse and put on here. Since Ages of Learning still want to show that they have My Math and My Reading images on ABC mouse, but been off the program for over 2 years. This has been a constant reminder of these two programs for my son. It doesn’t help him forget. My son’s school doesn’t have the the program and I simply can just “ask” for them to get the school programs so I wouldn’t have to pay for this. Thank you Ages of a learning for making my son cry again, when you finally booted us from My Math in July and now my son will have to start all over for the 5th time. The program was better on ABC Mouse and clearly hasn’t been updated because you reach a certain point where you just collect coins and not spend them. Update, guess what! Ages of Learning is discontinuing the program! I saw this coming! The site was too buggy. $300.00 wasted on a program that did work. Should have left everything to be purchased to the public on the App Store than trying to go private.

No sound
Nothing on the app has sound. It’s not the iPad bc they can watch Disney+ and other apps the sound works fine. MY KIDS DEPEND ON THIS APP FOR SCHOOL!!! I CANT AFFORD THIS PROGRAM THEN HAVE TO PAY HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS ON LAPTOPS!!

App too glitchy
I wanted to love this- I even purchased fast internet in our desolate area to make this program specifically work for us. Annnddd it doesn’t. We haven’t even been able to get through the pre tests on the reading academy because the app stops playing sound, then doesn’t load. Every once in awhile when you refresh it for the 100th time, it’ll work. By the time it works, my kids are already frustrated and wanting to do something different which is not conducive to learning. We’re still in the 10 day free trial and unfortunately if this isn’t fixed, there’s no way we’re paying the high monthly subscription fee. This has so much potential but I see it’s been an unfixed issue for a long time now. Do better, or lower your prices to reflect the severe lack.

Progress Tracker Stopped Working
I pay for the ability to track my children’s progress, I haven’t been able to see it in over a month.
I have reached out to support and have been told, “we are aware” but when I ask for an estimation of how long it it take to be back, they won’t answer.
For the amount we pay a month, I should be able to see what skills my children have mastered and what skills they need help on.
Either repair this, or reduce the cost of your product until it’s not in BETA.

The math and reading won’t hardly work
Signed up for the free trial and was excited to try out. Unfortunately, we were constantly having errors and the math and reading sections would not work most of the time. It was super frustrating

Wish I could give zero stars
This app will not allow you to set the grade of your child. My son(4th grade) has been stuck starting at pre k/kindergarten work to “be assessed”. I home school my kid. I know where he is at academically. You are wasting his time. He has to prove the the app little by little, starting at pre-k, that he is at a 4th grade level? Also, SO MANY GLITCHES. He currently is unable to access three of the main lessons I got this app for in the first place. My daughters profile can access them, but he can’t? I spent $100 something dollars on a yearly subscription, I absolutely love the IDEA of this app. You guys need to fix the problems asap.

A really big disappointment
I got this app because my child loves abc mouse. But honestly it has been nothing but a waste of money. From the time the free trial ended it has been nothing but glitches. Mainly in the My Reading Academy portion. It has consisted glitches it doesn’t load the books and one day I had to refresh the screen 40 times just to get the books to appear and two seconds later it glitched again no books. If they can get the My Reading Academy to work properly it would be a great app. But honestly as of right now I wouldn’t pay for it the amount of time it takes to keep refreshing the app to get it to work properly is taking away from the time my kid could be learning.

App has no sound
this may be a result of the current update. I just started my trial and have spent two hours troubleshooting. IPad Pro is updated, app is updated, system has been rebooted. Setting are as per customer service, and still no sound. I really wanted to use this and will be unable to even complete the trial.

Doesn’t work
I’m not paying for a app that doesn’t work all the time! Most times the app doesn’t even want to load and sometimes the lessons don’t want to load or work properly

Screen Orientation is awful. Bugs
So, this app has some portions of it that only work in portrait screen orientation. If you are using the app on an iPad in a case with a stand be prepared to be constantly turning the iPad. I reached out to support about this asking they fix it as it makes using the app pretty difficult and they responded that they have no plans to fix this issue. There’s definitely some carry over of bugs from ABC Mouse- content never loading until you force quit and restart, blank screens, sometimes when I put in my parent password to access settings the screen never progresses from the password entry screen. A force quit shows my password was accepted. It’s *working* but I’m also making it work.

Ages of learning are crocks.
For three years now, ages of learning will put programs on to ABC mouse and then take them off. This causes a child to get extremely upset when something that actually makes them learn is taken away. That’s not good for their mental status. My son love my math Academy, which we found and we were lucky to get a subscription for it before it was made school only. My reading academy with another great program to ABC mouse once has but they also took it away to school only. Now here they come with homeschool plus for $500 a year. A preschooler does not need Spanish. A preschooler does not need anatomy a preschooler doesn’t need geographic my preschooler want my reading academy, which should be sold separately. The concept of homeschooling is doing what what you want to do. That’s the freedom of homeschooling, but unfortunately ages of learning found a way to make it a group only. We tried this for two days. Our iPad does not work with HomeSchoolp+ so they basically told me I have to pay $1000 for another! outrageous, not happening. They suggest us to use laptop, OK but how is my son supposed to trace letters when a laptop doesn’t allow you to trace? He can’t even drag correctly, so how is he supposed to drag? This is outrageous, and very sad on ages of learning part. I get absolutely nowhere and keep getting sent to Jeanette who just repeats and I can’t speak to no one about just getting a My Reading academy. It’s pretty sad when a company who is all about “learning” will put programs on ABC mouse and take it away again it’s not good for a child. My son doesn’t even want touch ABC mouse anymore because of this this is. He stopped leaning letter due to this! It’s funny how abc mouse still use the Shapies from My Math and Nano from My reading on there program which is completely advisement
