The app is awful. It’s laggy and when you tried to complete a chore it crashes and closes.
Ridiculously stingy app
Signed off the minute I was trying to sign in. It told me to create household and even before I want to see how the app works - does it works with my way of rewards it asking for money. Looks like it is a super stingy app. Exciting 👋

Disappointed
I was really excited about the idea of this app, but couldn’t even make it past the “Create a Family” screen due to receiving an error code multiple times. Such a bummer!
Poor service
We had trouble logging in and kept asking for password resets. The reset via email never came. I sent 6 emails and no response
Unusable
This app is so unstable that I can’t even sign up. It gives a server error and won’t do anything.
Promising Concept, But Completely Unusable
The Homey app looks promising based on its App Store description and screenshots, but unfortunately it’s completely unusable. No one seems able to get past the “Create a New Family” screen — every attempt results in the same message: “Homey Server Error – Error 400.”
The developer has claimed multiple times that these bugs have been fixed, but that doesn’t appear to be true. It’s disappointing because the concept is great, but until the app actually functions past the setup screen, it’s essentially useless.

Constant error message
I downloaded this app and couldn’t get past making a household bc an error message kept coming up with no explanation of what to do to fix. I tried several times to get it to go past this screen and couldn’t.
Warning
This appears to be a “dead”.
The free app seems to work well. However, I paid for the unlimited / premium version but did not receive any of the additional promised functionality.
I reached out to support no less than ten times and have never received a single reply back.
The paid version seems to either be a scam or simply abandoned.

Good Idea, very glitchy
I like the idea of this app, but it doesn’t actually work. Today, for instance, one of my daughter’s daily chores doesn’t even show up in her interface for today. It shows it is due tomorrow. Meanwhile, on my parent interface it shows that same chore due for her today. Lots of similar problems crop up.

Sucks, waste of money, kicked me out
I used Homey for a while then one day it kicked me out of the app and said my password was incorrect even though that’s what I used every time. It made me pay $3 a month and was not worth it. Then it kept charging me after cancelling my subscription. Do not get app. Waste of time and money

Can’t even set it up
Just downloaded and can’t get past an error code to create our household account. I’ll be moving on.
No clue
Cannot even log in. Tried to setup an account and neither of the option buttons for Apple or using an email worked. Deleted
Glitchy before I’ve even registered
Downloaded and then deleted within minutes. Tried to register and it froze, deleted and redownloaded and froze at the same registering screen. When there’s so much choice out there for chore apps, this is not a good start and was a no from me.
App won’t work
The app is completely broken on my fairly new device. I cannot create an account, sign in, or use it whatsoever. Deleted.
Can’t create an account
I downloaded this app because it was recommended to me to use to keep help out kids learn responsibility. I can’t even create a login for this app. Every time I click create a new family and fill out the required info, the next button takes me nowhere. I have tried downloading the app on two devices to register and get nowhere. Such a waste of time.

It Never Opened
I just downloaded this app and it never opened. I tried it for 10 minutes but it never opened immediately after installing
I like some of it but not all of it.
We have been trying it for a week with my kids and I really like that they have to send picture proof. I like that they can work on extra things and not just regular chores. The part we don’t like is the payment and how it tracks the money.
I have to pay one child in cash because they don’t have any account because they are younger. The other child I can pay with other money transfer like cash app or Apple Pay. But when I pay them it still shows that they have earned that money. When yes it’s been paid to them but they might not actually have it anymore. So the overall total amount keeps going up on your app. It’s just too much work to track. I want something that I can pay them and then they show paid and things reset.
If my kids want to track their money it should be separate from this and not in the same place as this app.
