Fantastic app; needs widget improvements
The app is fantastic and really helps me keep an eye on my car’s status. There are a couple of things that could be better:- if the app is reinstalled, the TPMS information disappears and needs to be registered again. Also, It would be great if the TPMS info could be a widget that can be seen right from the Home Screen and in the CarPlay widgets screen, without having to open the Honda Connect app.

Book a service, request road side assistance, buy/renew insurance, buy/extend vehicle warranty, buy/extend road side assistance, check to see if your vehicle is locked, check to see if the lights are on/off, turn on/off your vehicle remotely, turn on/off the AC, view your driving score, view service history, view fuel consumption history, view trip history and many more features.

Wrong Notifications by Honda connect app– Needs Immediate Fix
I’ve been using the Honda Connect app for a while now, but recently it’s been generating incorrect and confusing notifications. Today, while my car was securely parked, the app sent alerts about ignition on, geofencing breach, and over-speeding—all while the vehicle wasn’t even in use. Later, it again showed a notification for ignition off.
I’m confident this is a bug, as the car was stationary the entire time. Such misleading notifications can cause unnecessary panic, especially in real-time situations where vehicle status matters for safety and tracking.
This issue needs immediate attention. I’ve relevant screenshots for your technical team’s reference and further investigation. Kindly look into this and resolve it at the earliest

The app can do so much more than what it is doing now. It can have linked videos tailored to made for specific models to demonstrate the many good features of the car. One month after I bought the car there are so many features that I am still trying to understand. Yes there is a manual, but it’s not so user friendly as videos with voice over would have been. And the voice can be also made in so many languages. I think this is the area that Honda really needs to improve.

App is giving me false alarms
Every hour last night, I’ve received alerts that ignition has been turned on. And ignition turned off after 10 minutes. I investigated by checking the fuel economy, but it doesn’t seem that the car is keeping itself alive or AC is running. The app is just erring. Even through the day, the car is peacefully parked but it continues to give me alerts that ignition is on and off and trip has ended. Very disturbing. I have a new car with this feature and I’m wondering if it was wrong to even activate this. Is it actually safe? I’m using the latest gen iPhone Pro Max and both iOS and the app are fully updated.
