Terrible
How can a big multinational company like Honda produce such a bad app that looks like it was knocked up in a weekend by an amateur. They need to hire a professional design team and developers to listen to the feedback and redesign the whole thing.
Not funcitonal
The app doesn’t work, I have a 2025 rebel 1100. 90% of the time I can’t even get the bike to show up when trying to go on a ride. I have to completely delete the Bluetooth and app and repair and now that doesn’t even work! I can get into the app see the bike but I can’t click on the gps or anything it does nothing! Infuriating app.

RoadSync
The RoadSync app works quite well for the functionality it has. The navigation is most functional with your smart phone in a holder and visible while driving the motorcycle. Music functionality is nice, but some extra features would be appreciated, like being able to move backward to previous tracks and switch music from the app. Also, podcast accessibility would be nice. Overall, the app isn’t bad and it sure beats using a smart phone by itself.

Es könnte eine gute App sein wenn das Lautstärken Problem nicht wäre. Musik hören und Navigationsansagen verstehen funktioniert nicht. Es kann doch nach Jahren nicht so schwer sein, gesonderte Soundregler für Musik und Navigations ansagen mit ins Programm zu nehmen. Ab 50 KMH ist die Navigations Ansage so gut wie nicht mehr zu verstehen. Außer ich drehe es auf 100 Prozent dann aber knallt einen, die Musik die Ohren weg.

Very poor
Most of the time it does not connect to the phone. When it does connect the Navigation instructions are ok, but the graphics for roundabouts are next to useless as they show straight over what ever the verbal instruction. The music app on jumps tracks forward and you must select what you want to play on the phone prior to riding. As Honda are a premium brand and the dealer promoted Road Sync. I am very disappointed. Come on Honda you must improve this.

Don’t expect much
I was excited about the prospect of RoadSync when I was buying the bike but now very unexcited! You can’t set a route unless the ignition is on! No chance of planning and setting a route on the sofa. Voice search just doesn’t work, comes up with nonsense. Even manually typing in a destination is fraught with.
Honda, forget this and just provide some decent 12V switched power that is accessible without removing panels. Come on, keep up!

Waste of time, eats battery
I’ve tried to use it, but it’s a total waste of time. Cannot create routes, can’t integrate with google maps, and it eats battery. Routes driven don’t appear until the next day. I’m struggling to understand what the purpose is. It would be far better for Honda to open the API and encourage maps SW makers to utilize it.
Sometimes it saves routes I’ve driven, which is the only useful feature, but often it doesn’t record them. The app is half baked and doesn’t reflect the high quality of Honda.

Gute Ansätze, aber noch ausbaufähig
Ich finde, die App wird hier im App Store teilweise deutlich schlechter dargestellt, als sie tatsächlich ist. Im direkten Vergleich mit anderen Hersteller-Apps, zum Beispiel von Yamaha, funktioniert sie bei mir deutlich zuverlässiger. Bei meiner vorherigen Maschine mit der MyRide App hatte ich sogar das Problem, dass die gesamte App teilweise gar nicht lief.
Das heißt aber natürlich nicht, dass hier alles perfekt ist. Der Funktionsumfang auf iOS ist spürbar eingeschränkt, die Verbindung ist stellenweise noch etwas hakelig und die Integration mit anderen Diensten ist aktuell eher gering. Gerade hier sollte Honda aus meiner Sicht unbedingt nachbessern.
Ich würde mir vor allem eine stärkere Integration von Siri wünschen, damit man mehr Funktionen während der Fahrt sicher und komfortabel nutzen kann. Außerdem wäre ein integrierter Routenplaner in der App eine große Verbesserung. Auch eine optionale Einbindung von Drittanbietern, zum Beispiel für Navigation wäre sinnvoll – gerne auch als kostenpflichtiges Upgrade oder Abo, solange es dann wirklich stabil und zuverlässig funktioniert.
Unterm Strich ist die App definitiv noch ausbaufähig, aber sie ist bei weitem nicht so schlecht, wie viele Bewertungen vermuten lassen. Mit etwas mehr Fokus auf Integration und Erweiterung könnte sie richtig gut werden.

Navigation is dangerous
I recently used Honda RoadSync navigation on my Honda Rebel 1100T in North Texas and experienced a serious routing issue that I believe is a safety concern.
The system routed me off major roads and onto poorly maintained rural roads, including areas with large potholes, flooding, mud, and heavy truck ruts. These conditions are not appropriate for a street motorcycle and created a situation where I had to carefully maneuver at low speed just to avoid losing control.
What made this more concerning is that RoadSync does not provide a visible map or route preview, so there was no way to identify or avoid the unsafe route in advance. I was essentially following turn-by-turn directions without context until I encountered hazardous conditions.
For comparison, standard navigation apps such as Google Maps on the same route selected only major, well-maintained roads.

Could do with more features to keep up with competition
The app works as intended but with other brands like cfmoto sync apps there really isn’t much to offer as of now. Would be good if you could see the current temps of your engine etc. so yeah more app features would be great

Completely broken
Was working fine, now music doesn’t work and i have to restart the app 5 times before the navigation shows up properly to do a search.
Another issue is you can’t see any navigation overview so you have no idea if the destination is correct

Apple monopoly
The concept is nice, but since it’s interfaced with Apple it’s garbage. Map and music sources are limited to Apple Music and maps so for Spotify and Google map users it’s worthless. No idea how this is legal after United States V. Microsoft.
Does not work good on music and navigation
not happy with this app junk very surprised with Honda quality. Navigation just not good . I’ve been trying to play my music with it ,works when it wants to . Hope Honda comes up with an update here soon.

Since update it now does not connect to my bike until I go into settings and briefly turn Bluetooth off and back on again several times, such a pain then have to go into app and except terms every time I use it, having to do all this just to use features such as music and navigation, really frustrating! Sort it out please

The worst app. Honda people are just trying to sell their product. If your product is not working on iPhone then simply you tell customers that it will not work on your phone. They are cheaters and just earning money. I wanted to give .5 star . The most worst app and company.
Really bad
The only thing this app is any good for is controlling volume on any headset you might be using via the handle bar control switch. The navigation feature is so bad it is actually dangerous to use.
Honda Roadsync app
This was a great app with my android prior to moving to iPhone and now this app is not even usable at all it freezes and most of the time I have issue connecting to my motorcycle with this app and also the limited functionality of this app with the iPhone is very annoying, I wish this app was the same as it was with my Samsung I had no issue but here it’s always an issue connecting, hope apple and Honda can make a change for this app for good but I don’t see them doing that at all this app is garbage
