Can’t mute thread
I have muted the automated thread and it doesn’t actually mute. So then I open the app to no new messages. Someone is doing this to juice their stats and it is BS. I am going to delete the whole app.
A total game changer for busy parents
This app is great! I’ve saved so much time using the Smart Calendar. Every date, reminder, and announcement that the school or my kids’ teachers send automatically shows up in one place, so I never have to dig through old emails again. I love that I can sync it to my Google Calendar and see everything right alongside my family’s schedule - super convenient.
The directory is incredibly helpful, too. It’s so nice to be able to put names to faces, and being able to easily contact the families of my kids’ friends has been a huge upgrade. No more sending my phone number to school on sticky notes, hoping it makes it to the right person!
Honeycomb has honestly made school communication so much easier (both with the school and with other families). Plus, they keep adding helpful new features like carpooling and updates to the Smart Calendar. Highly recommend!

I really like the directory. There’s something about seeing and knowing the families in our community, instead of just the child in my kids’ classes. Nice to have this way to connect. And I’m really looking forward to the carpool aspect when that launches! Carpooling is such a sanity saver and I’ve been wishing for something to simplify it.

Amazing for parents
If every school had this, it would go a long way towards solving the loneliness crisis. With honeycomb it’s been so much easier to get to know the other parents in my son’s school.
Email date extraction saves me so much busy work!
I love how Honeycomb pulls dates and to-dos (yes it can tell when a permission slip or form is due!) from the barrage of school emails. I now spend very little time adding to my calendar, and have just synced the Honeycomb calendar instead. Plus it means I can coordinate with other parents far more easily as we’re working from the same info!

A Game-Changer for Parents and Schools!
As someone that worked in Preschool Administration and a parent, this app has transformed our school experience. The smart calendar automatically syncs with the schools schedule and you don’t need to manually update events/ deadlines 🙌🏽 Honeycomb isn’t just an app, it’s how I started to make meaning connections with other parents in my daughters Kindergarten class. Plus, a visual family profile is so nice for someone like me, who forgets your name as soon as you say it!

Stronger school community
My son's elementary school starting using Honeycomb at the beginning of the school year. Not only do I feel more connected to other families, but the app has been a great central place to find events, message people, promote fundraisers, etc. And Honeycomb pulls key info from school emails into the our calendars so we know what's happening. It's a game changer.

So perfect for preschool!
I love using this with my daughter’s preschool. The shared calendar has made it so much easier to make sure we know about school closures and changes - plus now I actually recognize everyone at drop off and pickup 😍 Parenting is so much better with friends 🙏🏼

Great way to connect with class parents
We use Honeycomb for my daughter’s kinder class- love how easy it is to get in touch with parents to coordinate getting together and staying on top of things. I’m always forgetting parents’ names and the photo directory is a big help!
Works well!
App works well - very responsive team via chat - I shared a slowness issue and they quickly fixed it. I’d like to see more notification preference settings to customize to my needs and to reduce noise from large group events, but otherwise it’s working really well.

Hi there! We did indeed have some performance issues for part of August, but fixed them several weeks ago and hope you'll give Honeycomb another shot. Please update to latest version to try it out. And please keep the feedback coming!
Really slow
App itself is fine, but it is SO SLOW to respond to any actions. They need to improve performance and responsiveness.
