Really cool spin on location apps, and actually useful
If you're lucky enough to live in an area supported by hoppin there is no reason why you shouldn't take it for a spin. Really useful real time updates on businesses in your area!
Have to have it
Not only does this app show you all the fun bars and restaurants but it shows you all the parks and entertainment in the city as well! I love it! Love the layout of the app as well, very easy to use!

Better than yelp
Always looking for places that play live music, hoppin does the work for me. Found a great place in downtown San Diego last night, a plus it was "on fire" love the Heat List!

The heat levels are on point. The functionality is solid. This app is my all time favorite.
Mediocre app
This app has minimal functionality. The layout is confusing, and the recommendations are sub par and quite conventional. The places that are being shown as lively in fact barely have a pulse unless you like tourist joints.

Pretty cool. Lets you know what places in the city are going off. Also tells you where people aren't checked in if you want to avoid the crowd. Hope the updates let you see where all your friends are checked in.

I'm addicted!
I think it's safe to say I'm addicted to this app! When I used it for the first time it pointed out 2 happy hours and a wine special just .25 miles away from where I was. Not bad for the first time I used it. I also use it to find Live Music now. That's always been hard to find. I'm a fan!!
Great app!
This app is awesome! I use it when I go out to see which bars/restaurants have the most check ins. I will never walk into a dead bar or restaurant again. I plan on using it when I travel to other cities as well.

This app is able to tell you which bars, restaurants or clubs are poppin. If you want live music near you, just search it. If you want Mexican food in your area, it's able to list multiple venues. Highly recommend!
