Wish this actually worked! This is a great concept, but it just doesn’t work most of the time. I pointed this at Hostas I know, and it usually identified it wrong. One review stated it depends on light, angle etc., but I found it is just wrong. It even identified a non variegated Hosta as a variegated one!?!?
Now, what is kind of cool is it’s “catalogue” of hosta pictures. It is possible to scroll through those pictures to find ones that look like your Hosta. Now I will say that some of the pictured plants have on name on them that I think is wrong.
Please keep working on this. Lots of Hosta collectors will love it. Perhaps if in included categories of descriptions of the plants characteristics.

Always wrong
Identification was always incorrect. Tried on my known variety’s
Not enough variety
Everything plain green is halcyon or Blue Angele we have one according to all our research we think is big daddy you never showit as an option when I sho Plant leaf or flower Can you load some better info we have a hostas you don’t even list is possibilities

Just tried this app on 7 of my hostas where I knew the cultivar. It correctly ID’d 2 of 7.
