No English and forces registration
Hoto products have great hardware design. I do not see why we have to register on the app and agree to privacy policies if we just want to change settings on our Hoto tool. In my case, I wanted to adjust the settings on the laser measuring tool.
Upon registering, the app requests access to WiFi, Home, and more. All this to just change the units of measurement for my laser?
Then, when it comes time to pair with the device, it just flat out doesn’t work. So all this work for nothing. Stick to hardware, Hoto, your software and UX needs a lot of work.

Прошлая версия приложения была в разы совершенней, если не исправят, то дальномер бесполезен, лучше не обнавляться.
Брать размеры на фотки невозможно.
Сохранять много фото в приложении невозможно.
Разрешение с которым сохраняется фото( при больших размерах) ужасное, размеры нечитабельны.
Размер графики размеров на изображении огромные, перекрывают друг друга и снова нечетабельны, одно разочарование.
Насколько хорошо и приятно выполнен дальномер, настолько ужасно выполнено приложение.

Ho scaricato l’app per utilizzare la connessione BT col metro laser di HOTO, si connette e visualizza le misurazioni ma nella schermata dove puoi disegnare e importare le misure non puoi aggiungere nessun progetto perché nell’interfaccia non appare il segno + in alto a destra. Io ho un iphone 13 Pro Max e non so se il problema è diffuso o è solo per certi display…

Sinnlose App
Um den HOTO Laserentfernungsmesser via App zu verbinden benötigt man die Xiaomi Home App. Warum gibt es die HOTO App? Eine Kopplung war auch nach mehreren Versuchen nicht erfolgreich. Konto und App also wieder gelöscht. Danke für nichts!
App molto sospetta
Per una semplice bilancia da cucina (con funzione bluetooth per indicare le quantità di calorie, proteine, fibre etc. del prodotto pesato) mi richiede posizione in tempo reale, dati di casa mia, connessione wi-fi, connessione bluetooth, knlowledge agreement di utilizzo dati per fini marketing e statistiche. Cinesi curiosi ;) Disintallata. Userò la bilancia come una stupida bilancia di uno stupido brand, prodotto da una stupida azienda ;) A mai più.

Setup went well. No problems registering and switching the system to imperial.
Poor functionality
Can add walls but can’t move them, need to delete and start over…. Can undo but not redo? Labels would be overflowing other laves and can’t make sense, they should resize when zooming out or in. And. Much more…

жаль что приложение не может складывать/умножать данные полученные с устройства. просто выводит данные на экран, никаких арифметических действий выполнять не умеет

Приложение не плохое, но есть огромный косяк, проставляешь размеры на фото, и все они привязываться к первому размеру.
Works as advertised.
I’m seeing people mention you can’t create an account but I had no issues at all. Entered my phone number, got the email with the confirmation code, entered the code, added a password and finally paired the device with the app via Bluetooth. Voila! Cool app but they need to test it a bit more. Some of the descriptive text gets cut off so you cannot read the full description detail of certain functions. Haven’t used it enough yet to really comment more but wanted to note that it does indeed allow you to create an account and use the app.

Totally not work
You can’t sign up account , so this app is totally useless. when you try to sign up account with phone number, just tell you the net work error.

Can’t pair Hoto smart laser measure over Bluetooth, rendering all app functionality for this product useless
