Exactly What I Was Looking For
this a simple and no-nonsense, free app that does exactly what it says in the description on the app store. there are different options for sounds to pick from, and you can customize which hours the alarm will go off during which is very convenient.
when i was growing up, my family owned a wooden clock that chimed every hour. i can't remember anymore what it looked like but i remembered the sound and i liked how it sounded off every hour. now, i have ADHD and i have realized recently that it would be helpful if i had something similar today, an alarm or clock that goes off every hour to help me gauge how much time is passing and whether or not i need to hurry up. i also miss the sound of the clock chiming every hour when i was a kid. so i kept searching for a hourly chime app on the app store, and none of them had spectacular reviews. this app only had about 4, and normally that would turn me off, but it was the only hourly chime app that had a 5 star rating. it does exactly what i wanted!

Simplicity
This app achieves its purpose with simplicity and efficiency. I tried others, but this one I found to be most convenient.

Select different sound for hours. Get up and sleep hour should be time….

Thank you so much for fixing this app. I never uninstalled it and was thrilled to see the update. Works great on iOS 17.1.1.
It’s back!!!
The version 2.2 update allows the app to work as intended once again on recent OS’s. Confirmed on 16.7. Thanks for the effort and the fix!

I downloaded this app thinking it would work. No chimes whatsoever.
Didn’t make a single sound
I setup the times and turned on the app then went to the Home Screen. When the set time came up there was no sound. In order for these apps to work properly they need to have background app refresh turned on but this app doesn’t even have that feature. I’m using it on the iPhone 14 pro max.

ios16 업데이트하고 혹시나 해서 다시 켜봤는데 작동 잘되네요. 역시 이게 제일 심플하고 좋아요

It used to work nicely but not anymore (iPhone XS). Shame.

No longer works on iOS 15
The app works great on my iPhone 8 running iOS 13.7. It’s been extremely helpful in allowing me to keep track of the time of day without constantly looking at a clock. Now that I’ve upgraded to iOS 15, it doesn’t make any sound at all while running in the background. I suppose it’s time to find an alternative.
