Hours Given is a private time tracker and daily reflection journal for understanding where your hours actually went—without grading the day or pretending every minute is known. Start with Today. Track an activity in the moment, add past time, or reconstruct a day by typing or with on-device speech when available. Review one complete day at your pace, correct suggestions, and leave anything unresolved as Unknown. What Today Became shows an honest composition of the day. Then choose Tomorrow’s Anchor: one realistic part of tomorrow you want to protect. As reviewed days accumulate, Hours Given can show: • The Week You Made, with reviewed and open time kept distinct • Month and Year Life Fragments • Pattern Evidence and What Changed across aligned periods • Person-authored Life Chapters and evidence-grounded reflections you can accept, edit, reject, or defer • Archive search, raw export, and a human-readable report PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your primary archive stays on your device. Hours Given has no in-app account, ads, third-party tracking, remote analytics, or external AI service. Optional Calendar and Motion context is requested only after you choose it and never enters your record until you review and save it. Typed reconstruction and on-device speech reconstruction are separate paths. YOUR RECORD STAYS YOURS Correct entries, export raw data, delete saved reflections, restore purchases, or delete local data and any reachable private iCloud copy from inside the app. Local data remains primary, and backup conflicts require your choice. FREE AND PREMIUM Free includes the complete daily loop, your first seven days and current Week, the first evidence-grounded reflection, Tomorrow’s Anchor, personal activities, raw export, complete deletion, and purchase restoration. Premium adds repeated evidence-grounded reflections and cross-window synthesis, earlier Weeks, Month and Year views, Pattern Evidence, What Changed, new Life Chapters, extended history and search, and human-readable reports. Each newly reviewed day can expand the eligible evidence for future longitudinal reflections, comparisons, searchable history, and reports. Optional private iCloud backup is available without Premium when the signed container and the person's iCloud account are available and the archive has not used Apple Health or Motion evidence. It is a free data-protection control. Subscriptions renew unless canceled in your Apple Account settings. Restore Purchases and Manage Subscription are available in the app. Hours Given measures allocation and intention—not productivity. Rest does not need to be justified. Unknown time can stay unknown.
