Appalling app. I have to reload the app and re login for each edition. Also picture does not fill full page. Contents displayed all the time. I will not re subscribe.
Frustrated by updates
I enjoy reading my House Beautiful very much ... When I can access it. I have it on auto renew subscription but it never works. I am currently locked out of my account. Also, I wish they would make the links in the PDF clickable; pretty standard for digital editions these days.
Don't get this app!
OMG! No longer have access to previous purchases older than the app upgrade. That's just wrong. I want a refund for those purchases I can't access. Rip off!

Lost issues!
I purchased quite a few issues over the years, but it looks like the latest update not only deleted them, but has made all issues prior to March 2013 inaccessible! Very upset.
Magazines deleted
With the new update, House Beautiful have seen fit to delete from my device all of the magazines that I have purchased from them. Which wouldn't be so bad, except that magazines older than 12 months are no longer available for download. Are they also going to pop round my house and remove any physical copies that are older than 12 months, or have they just stolen my digital copies?

Rubbish - why no digital access for print subscribers?
Useless to me as a print subscriber - clearly this is an afterthought and not part of an integrated market offering to their HB subscribers.
Where's the free access for print subscribers?
About time there was an app, but am disappointed as there doesn't seem to be free access to the iPad edition for existing print subscribers, unlike other rival magazines like Ideal Home, hence my low rating. Unless I'm missing something...?
I'm certainly not going to pay again for a separate iPad sub in addition to my print one, so I will be deleting this app. Come on HB, great mag, but why separate print from digital?

Good, but...
I love reading the magazine digitally it really is great, particularly because I could buy 2 mags for £1.49 each.
I'm confused by the subscription pricing though; at the time of writing is I can subscribe to 12 digital editions for £32 but 12 regular copies of the magazine by subscription will cost £21, 24 is £40 and 36 is £52. I'm a freak for using my iPad for everything but I won't pay this price for a digital version when the regular is way cheaper. PLUS there are other magazines that include digital downloads free for regular subscribers.
As fabulous as this magazine is it just feels as though I'm being ripped off for being a UK resident.
