Absolutely Terrible App
I’ll get straight to the point: your app is a mess, and it’s actively making travel harder instead of easier.
Here’s what’s wrong:
1. It crashes constantly. I’ve lost bookings mid-checkout multiple times. That’s not a minor inconvenience — that’s a trust problem.
2. The design is unintuitive. Finding basic information like itinerary details or cancellation policies requires digging through layers of menus that make no sense. Other travel apps solved this years ago.
3. Key features are missing or broken. [e.g., offline access, real-time flight updates, easy rebooking] — these aren’t nice-to-haves, they’re table stakes for a travel app in 2026.
I want to keep using your service, but the app makes that genuinely difficult. This needs serious attention from your product and engineering teams — not a cosmetic refresh.

Absolutely hopeless app
Half way through our travels this app does an update requiring a log in with a new password. Do this and try to retrieve our travel plans and cannot do so. Contact House of Travel on the contact link and nothing!
Lucky we have a printed copy of our plans so the only thing lost was the convenience of the app on our phones. If I could give less than one star I would have done so.

Not even recommended by HoT staff
The app pulled across incorrect booking details for our flights. Our travel agent suggested that we just do not use the app.

More like House of Travail. App doesn’t work. Says it will send an activation email. That email doesn’t arrive. I delete app. Reload. You already have account. Lost your password? Yes. Enter email address here. Entered. No email. Attempt to register again. You already have account. You already told me that. Rinse, repeat.

Great for booking fares, however
Would love to see in planning
A Wishlist section we could plan a proposed next big overseas trip, that HOT could view and supply information on our Wishlist.

Hopeless
Trying to add in events outside those booked with HOT impossible! Don’t even get the option on the website. Needs some serious work on the UI.

One of the clunkiest apps I use
This app, while being useful and almost essential when organising complex itineraries, is slow, clunky and frequently freezes or simply hangs up. It is a sad reflection on HOT, especially when compared to the high level of professionalism exhibited by the HOT executives. Please review and update/upgrade.

Not Good
Seriously guys I suggest you do some more in house testing on various scenarios in which people use this app. Especially for the first time. UI is terrible and hangs or has weird delays with modals. Select flights enter all of your details then want to book and then flights aren’t available so have to go through the whole process again. I shouldn’t have to keep entering y address on new searches as a new user since I bothered to create an account. Total subpar rookie app. Took my money elsewhere.

Now you see it now you don’t
The app keeps on closing. When I open it back up I only get to view for a few seconds then it closes again
Glitches constantly
Keeps logging me out every time I go to look at my itinerary. Can only look at it for a few seconds before I am back on my Home Screen. Very annoying
HOT App
The app stays on the screen for about one minute then disappears. Unusable.
worthless (zero stars).
it can't add my flights. oops, something went wrong. error! and so on. it doesn't appear to like ipads nor iphones, and it usually takes a few tries to get logged in. it just doesn't work for me. it seems to work for a few others (reviews), but i can't get my copy to do the job.

Was using a iPhone 8. Difficult to manoeuvre. Frustrating to say the least. Why even have this app HOT?

Very helpful, loved the fact that you can see an itinerary update which is very exciting! Has currency converter, maps and loads more features that I found helpful
Great but here's a suggestion
Really good app...makes searching and booking a holiday really easy. The only frustrating part is when viewing a deal, not being able to go 'back' to look at another. I have to go back through the Deals option then re-navigate to the destination. Other than that, a good app.
