Deleted features, deleting app

A simple Windsor knot has always been available, now it’s locked and you gotta pay up. Use the internet instead

Simple, Informative, Intuitive

Great app that teaches you different knots for ties as well as pocket squares. Videos available for extra help and step by step directions are a plus. However, you do have to purchase the app. Still 5 stars.

Great app

Needs a major overhaul it’s time to update the app it’s been looking like this for yrs

Experience

The app is awful. It doesn’t work on my iPad (iOS 15). You have to pay for it.

So broken.

Please update. I like this.

Could be better

Graphics could be better, lots of ads and need to pay to really have all the knots, it’s clear this app has been made only to make money, not to respond to a problem. Otherwise, animations are clear to follow for the few knots available for free.

BEWARE

Bought this app and my purchase is not being restored after having to get my phone replaced. My previous and new phone are tied to the same apple account, so that isn't the issue. The app itself doesn't have a way to contact developers. That's why I can't give it the four stars I wanted to give it.

Pay for even the basics

You have to pay for the in app purchase even to get something as basic as the half Windsor. And the ads are both obnoxious and poorly implemented. I get that they have to make money, but this is not a great way to do it.

Rip off 💸

Having to pay for something you can search for on YouTube in five seconds is not worth it.
If the app is 1 to 3 dollars to unlock everything I would have paid gladly button nickel and diming makes this a 20+ dollar app.

Still has ads even after upgrade.

Still has ads even after upgrade.

Not a free app

I don’t like apps that say they are free only to offer you nothing until you pay. What a scam.

Used to be good

It used to be a good reference. But then they “updated” the app and moved half the knots behind a IAP paywall. A greedy, sleazeball move. Just charge for the app and stop pretending it’s free anymore.

Great app, but...

I love the app, I find it useful and all, dropped the £3 for the upgrade, however:
It's absolutely ridiculous that the dev thinks that after someone purchased his IAPs it's alright to leave the ads in their face! This is extremely annoying leech behaviour, so that 1 Star rating would surely stay until those ads go for those who purchased the upgrade!
You can either fill your pocket from IAPs or from Ad revenues, not from both....

Usable variety, good instruction options

No great novel to tell, it works well! The options are realistic choices for most of society, and the options for tying (inverted, etc.) are useful.

It’s not free

You have to purchase the app to get all features .. if it was not free at the beginning it would’ve been more convenient.

Gooiod

Really good but kinda makes you buy the app

Tie App is Excellent

I found this guide to how to tie a tie to be really helpful and and it fills the gap in my knowledge that has existed for a long time.

I have yet to explore and try some of the other articles such as scarves, but I would expect that these explanations will also be very clear and insightful

Keep up the good work guys!

I have used this app for quite a while. Now they want you to pay for something you can google for free. Good luck with your app that used to be helpful.

Perfect for Kicking up Any Outfit

Honestly, haven't we had enough of the boring, old Windsor knot? Or the tired displays of pocket squares? This app is great for adding a little pizzazz to your dressing ensemble. Sure to please and reasonably easy to assemble, any poor sap can easily take his wardrobe game to the next level. I upgraded, which is worth it in my opinion. But even the free version will do more good than harm. Enjoy fellow GQ aspirations.
