Very stressed
Over the years I’ve had to use some pretty crummy bits of software, but I can’t remember any as bad or infuriating as HDID. On the rare occasions it works it’s fine, but the number of times it fails in simple tasks is unbelievable. Initially I was prepared to give the ‘new’ app the benefit of the doubt, but it clearly has fundamental flaws, has had zero stress testing before being dumped on its users and is simply not fit for purpose. Five stars until update :(
Used to be really great. Now its clunky, glitchy and confused. I assume someone didn’t consider end user experience and usability necessary. Its dire!

Too many frills but basics not working
Frustrating in the extreme. I cannot book a round without having to divert to the club’s website. I cannot check a tee time for a comp. Pre release testing just not done. A terrible app as it stands
Triple bogey!
Paid £10 for an app which is a lot worse than the free one it replaced. Literally everything is harder to do than on old version.

The updated app is a lot better than the original, but a clear issue is that is someone else books a time and adds me in to the booking, that booking does not appear on my list of next tee times even though I can see it in the booking sheet.
Can’t be designed by golfers
How difficult is it to show who you are playing with in a tee booking? I could go on… I would advise any club considering this app, look elsewhere before committing.

Poor app
Rarely works properly without closing down and reopening. Crashes easily. My club has problems putting up the results of competitions. Poor.
Not fit for purpose
This app should have been tested better. The old app worked much better
Continues to look good but disappoint
Despite regular updates/fixes, the app continues to underperform. Lagging when opening (nothing to do with my super doopa wifi), displaying a blank white screen and allowing more tha. 1 team into the same slot whilst booking team competitions, leaving both users unclear which team has been successful until after exiting. I think an app with an average rating of 2.6 needs to take that on board and fix it.
It’s all very well you responding to my app review stating ‘it should not being doing that’ (displaying a white screen during the team competition booking process and allowing multiple people into the same time slot)…I know! Why can’t you do something about it as the old app doesn’t suffer with the same functionality issues.

To be honest I have been impressed so far. Found booking easy and love the addition of Knockouts where you enter results and see who is next opponent. Like new look too

Unfortunately this app or their admins don’t respect the notification settings. Getting unrequested push messages even though I have these turned off.

Just updated and the only screen I can open the explore tab, all the others are blank. I have 2 notifications but they do not work anymore

The app has just automatically updated, the home section now doesn’t load, following the update. General usability of the app is poor.
Synchronisation of handicap with WHS is not working
Playing events that have direct input to WHS are not relayed to HowDidiDo app allowing the potential for disqualification due to use of incorrect handicap in club competitions
