About

Howzat - Counter is a simple ball-by-ball cricket scoring app built for umpires and scorers at club, school, and backyard games. SCORE EVERY DELIVERY Log runs (0–6), wickets, wides, no-balls, leg-byes, and byes with a large, thumb-friendly keypad. See runs, wickets, overs, extras breakdown, and run rate at a glance. LIMITED-OVERS SETUP Set overs, balls per over, and max wickets before you start. Optional batting side name on the scoreboard. CHASE MODE Batting second? Enter a target and track runs needed, balls remaining, and required run rate (RRR). Scoring locks when the target is reached or the innings ends. OVER-BY-OVER VIEW Follow the current over delivery by delivery. Review every completed over on the History tab — most recent overs appear first. SHARE SCORECARDS Copy or share a text summary of the full innings from History. UNDO & REDO Fix a mis-tap instantly. Reset the match when you’re done. CUSTOMISE YOUR KEYPAD Choose which extra buttons (Wide, No-ball, Leg-bye, Bye) appear during setup or in Settings. FEEDBACK OPTIONS Optional haptic feedback on the keypad and sound on wickets. PRIVACY Match data is stored locally on your device. No account required. No ads. Perfect for T20, club matches, practice games, and any limited-overs innings where you need a reliable counter at your side.

Match setup & toss Virtual coin toss — 3D animated US quarter in match setup (flip for heads/tails, haptics on device). Bottom sheet setup — match setup slides up as a native-style sheet instead of a full-page flow. Look & feel Dark mode — light, dark, or follow system; theme control is in Settings (removed from headers). iOS-style UI — floating glass tab bar, shared page headers, safe-area fixes on iPhone, SF/system fonts. Status bar — matches light/dark theme on iOS. Scoring & history Score toasts — optional top-of-screen alerts for 4, 6, and wickets (toggle in Settings). History — overs list full width, most recent overs first. Live scoring — keypad layout adjusted so it doesn’t overlap the tab bar. Help Help tab — step-by-step guides with in-app visuals (no external diagrams). iOS / reliability Reset match — uses a native action sheet instead of a basic alert. Settings storage — Capacitor Preferences with one-time migration from WebView localStorage. Portrait only on iPhone. Privacy manifest for App Store compliance. No custom encryption declaration (ITSAppUsesNonExemptEncryption = NO).
