Bandwidth stats are confusing and links not working
Seems like the way you interpret the bw usage on a port on a switch depends on a few things. Super confusing how the uplink internet port shows download/upload in reverse. Also link navigation doesn’t seem to work well and you need to keep pushing links. Especially on startup with site selection. Wow back out and try again please!!!!
Seriously this app is unusable. It’s slow and you have to tap multiple times and the bandwidth usage is backwards!

For the dev team!
It is very confusing! Looking at the app store it say version 3.2 but the latest realsed version is 3.1. Does not make any sense. Also notification in the app say 3.2!!! Fix this embarrassing error!
Worked great till version 3.x
This app worked amazingly well for the last few years right up until they updated to version 3.x.
White screens where the app hangs, non-responsive to touch, and tons of lag that didn’t exist on previous versions.
Devs need to fix ASAP. if you were going to update an application, at least keep it working as well as it was before you touched it. At this point it is borderline unusable.
Even the web portal runs like trash… It’s not just the iOS app.

Don’t use this app use web version instead
This app is good for 2 things. Telling you a site is down and setting up a quick wifi. If you need to manage any devices or look into any issues then I suggest using the Aruba website from a PC. This app is missing all the QOL improvements that is needed to do any kind of actual real world troubleshooting. In the website I have the ability to add fields so I can view all device names, mac, ip, os, connection speed and Wi-Fi name all from ONE screen. In this app you have to look in an unnecessary amount of different locations just to view all that info for one device. If you have 50+ devices then good luck using the app. You also need to add a reboot all devices option so I don’t have to reboot 25 APs one at a time….
After they updated it a few days ago they made it even slower then it was before. Logging in, switching sites all slow. I change the sorting to alphabetical, and every time I log back into the app, they change it back the some other setting.

App Crash
The App keeps crashing after last update. It shows white screen. Tried reinstalling but same problem.

App is a good start but needs more features
Hardware is working great, but app needs improvements and optimization. It’s sometimes slow to load, needs better sorting options for clients & devices, faster updating of data. Desperately needs dark mode.

Acceptable but underwhelming
App works, but is underwhelming.
InstantOn APs repeatedly reboot anytime the network gateway is offline making local lan, via Wi-Fi, useless as the wireless is offline while the APs look for the cloud controller. Local management for APs isn’t available.
When InstantOn equipment is offline, the cloud controller doesn’t show last known config beyond last known internal AP.
Cloud controller has no change log for admin changes. Cloud controller takes away all port control options for any port another instant on device is plugged into. Unable to edit multiple ports at once on switches. Makes me wonder about the quality of their enterprise equipment if the prosumer line is as unimpressive as it is.

Aruba is awesome!!
Aruba has the best bang for the buck it gives you enterprise class networking awesome stuff!
Not Intuitive
Been using it for over a year now, still can’t figure out how to get back to the Home Screen to view all sites without closing out and logging back in.
Also needs a port reset check box (reset multiple) without have to deactivate>save, activate,save.

Needs to be able to switch between multiple Instant on accounts

Keeps logging out
The app is just okay, pain point is it keeps logging me out. We use secure phones, no need to force session timeout, or at least give us faceid to login.
Fine when it works, but always logs me out
When the app works it’s fine, it offers pretty basic control invisibility of your network. Every second or third time I open the app, I have to sign in with my username and password and do two factor authentication. This makes using it very frustrating. I wish there was an option for local management, but then I guess they couldn’t monitor all of our data in their cloud.

Good idea horrible execution. Fix these 2 things ASAP
No ability to see IP addresses of all devices connected. Unless you drill into 1 device at a time. MAC addresses are a nice to have but there should be an option to display the IP OR Mac. The biggest annoyance is rebooting. I have 26 APs in 1 site and I have to reboot each AP one at a time. Rebooting the switch is NOT an option as we have multiple switches and other devices that can’t be rebooted. There’s needs to be an option to check off all APs and reboot them ALL in one shot or half if I choose too. For these 2 reasons I can’t recommend this app. The weblogin is was more efficient and more user friendly. Another issue I ran into. If you have more then 1 SSID you cannot tap on the SSID and see a list of Devices connected to ONLY that SSID.

Application is dated
Are there active updates on this? Looks dated and still has limited reviews. The system works okay, however I still see a slow adoption rate to this… I’m not sure why other than it doesn’t appear to be advertised or marketed well… could be why it looks so dated..

Now I know why, Bought an AP 22 on the 7th, connection in 1,500 sqft home. The home is 1 floor, mounted in attic. It could not reach the master bedroom without dropping out. Master bathroom, forget about it. It’s connected at 1-0 bar at best.
Andddd guess what no connectivity.
For reference, currently have a Ubiquiti UAP-LR, it’s got better range and can get full connectivity.
6 plus years in attic still going strong.
Finally thought it was time for upgrade, since we are getting fiber in a couple of weeks.
Not was I wrong with this one..
For the AP22 No matter what setting you move the 2.4 ghz to, it will not stay connected. And for the 2.4 to work, you have to have both 2.4 and 5 GHz enabled.
The iPhone will not connect otherwise.
Atleast the cloud portion works, so you can easily reconfigure. But after 2 days of working with this, it’s going back.
Getting another Ubiquiti U6-LR for the same price with 4x4 MIMO vs this at 2x2. For only $10 more.
Had high hopes for this system to work, but definitely not ready for a SMB or home.
Glad I don’t order these for my clients…

Mostly Great, but One Issue
The app is great for managing my network. I have experienced only one issue. I’ll be using it just fine and then open another app. When I switch back to or re-open the Aruba app after a long period of time (multiple hours), it only shows a white screen. The time in between using it seems to be the key factor. I have to swipe it away to allow it to restart and then it works fine when I re-open it.

Stop logging us out
The app is fine - just a mobile version of the web portal. But you are logged out of the app constantly even when using mfa to authenticate yourself. I understand this practice on computers but phones aren’t shared devices - no need for frequent log outs. Very frustrating.
