Worked until I purchased a lifetime subscription
To developers: there may not be a reason but it does not work. Yes both devices have the newest updates. Yes I see my hr on the watch but the data field on the Garmin still shows 0 for hr.
"There is no reason the app stopped working after you purchased the License. Did you update both devices (phone and watch) ? Do you see your HR numbers on your watch?"

Integration to a Garmin bike computer.
Grégory Cordier at BIPR has provided great support, but unfortunately he also admitted that there is nothing else to do, and it does not seem to support the Garmin 1050 bike computer.

HORRIBLE!
Not worth it
No thank you.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Just to clarify for anyone reading: the app can be fully tested for free in 15-minute sessions, including sending Apple Watch heart rate to a Garmin Edge. This allows users to verify everything works before deciding on a purchase. Longer sessions require a subscription or one-time unlock, which supports ongoing development and ensures the app remains reliable and compatible with new devices and updates. I understand not everyone wants to pay for this functionality, and that’s completely fine — but for users looking for a solution, the options are there. If you’d like any help testing the connection, feel free to reach out.
Scam
Response from developer
The issue you mentionned in your message was able the store itself and not the app. We didn't develop the part of code when you click on the download button and don't get the data field on your device, which is why I can only give you generic answers... On our side, we would like that the field always gets on the device when the download button is pressed, but this is a Garmin Connect issue and it seems we are not the only app concerned.
Does not work with garmin total scam
Response from developer
I invite you to have a look at our tutorial here: https://bipr.fr/connect-apple-watch-to-garmin-edge In addition, I am here to provide you some support per mail if you want to: 'contact@bipr.fr'. There are differents steps in the process, be sure to download the data field on your Garmin and add it to one of your screen, grant all permissions for the app especially Bluetooth and Health permissions and enable broadcasting to Garmin data field. Last point, it is possible to test the app before buying in order to be sure your setup is working properly... So, the app has nothing to do with a scam, we are doing our best to allow people to connect devices while riding on the bike...
Sur Garmin, ça arrête souvent.

Crashes after 15 seconds
Useless

I invite you to follow our tutorial on our webpage and watch the Youtube video in order to be sure to complete every step. Feel free to contact us directly to get some support. Update 29.07.25 : the same issue was solved for someone else by deleting Garmin Connect and then install it again on the phone, if you want to try... In addition, check that Bluetooth is granted for the phone app and Health as well...
Doesn’t Work At All
Response from developer
The message that you get on your phone is just an information, if you go further and start a workout in HR2VP on your phone, it will detect automatically your watch if a workout has been started in HR2VP on it. Just be sure that you selected 'Apple watch or no sensor' as the sensor type and don't try to pair with BLE to your watch. I invite you to watch our Youtube tutorial and contact us if you need more support.
Poor connection
Response from developer
Hi, thanks for your feedback. A heart rate of 100 bpm is generally too low to complete the warm-up phase. You may need to either adjust your personal settings or complete a more thorough warm-up. For a more stable power output, you can also try adjusting the accuracy slider in the settings from "Accurate" to "Smooth." We’d be happy to help you get the best experience possible—please don’t hesitate to reach out via email for personalized support.

No go.
Caveat Emptor - it’s only a display and it’s unstable
Response from developer
Sorry to hear that the app didn’t meet your expectations. The limitation you mentioned is due to Garmin’s system—heart rate data from external apps isn’t treated as native because Garmin doesn’t allow developers to push HR data directly into FIT files. As for background communication, this is a relatively new feature, and we are actively working on improving its stability. We appreciate your feedback and are continuously working on enhancing the experience. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to us via email—we’d be happy to help!
