Weak app
This app basically serves to see your balance. For everything you need you have to go to online banking through your computer first. Even your bank account information is only available on the website. If you need to update your personal information you have to go to a bank branch, if you need a statement you have to go to your bank branch. For a bank like this, this app should be much better.

Most difficult bank in Qatar
Payments never reflect and you don’t know if the payment was done or not. Sometimes it can take a week to reflect especially in Eid holidays. You need to go into a bank to settle things for everything and personal banking is terrible- basically non existent
Feature set is severely lacking

HSBC Qatar App
The App has very limited functionality & HSBC Qatar do not use Apple Pay. Their service is dreadful referring you to the call centre are extremely polite but totally hopeless and I am a premier customer. The only way to get service is to raise complaints.

simple app but can’t really do much with the app , can’t add beneficiaries, can’t put travel plans, can’t do much
Bad and ild service
Its so old and the transfer taking so much time and it should be in the working hours and still no Apple Pay
Amazing Banking Experience
HSBC even though sometimes conservative keeps the security of their clients foremost.
The app experience is smooth and seamless.
Hopefully apple pay will come to the qatar HSBC soon.

Terrible app compared to other banking apps. Need to cancel your card when abroad, can’t do it on the app. Have to call the number. Worst bank app I’ve used.

Things you can’t do on the HSBC Qatar app:
1. Can’t add international beneficiaries
2. Can’t make transfers between your global HSBC accounts on the app
3. No more Qatar Mobile payments (HSBC QR stopped all QMP)
4. No virtual or one time cards (great fir internet usage)
5. You can’t change your profile details on the app.
6. Can’t submit notice that you’re travelling overseas.
They don’t support Apple/Samsung/Google pay on their cards and have no intention of adding this functionality.
You can do all of those with other Qatari banks and apps.
There is only one reason to use HSBC QR and that is if you have other HSBC accounts around the globe. You can at least transfer to these accounts from their online banking immediately and for free.

Wire transfer
That app is too limited regarding bank transfers. It also takes too much time to credit the amount in the beneficiary account.
HSBC App Doha
Very easy to navigate, pay bills and transfer money between accounts. Converting money to Sterling or dollar accounts so very simple. Compared exchange rates with money exchanges in City Mall, to my surprise, HSBC gave better rates.
One recommendation when payment is made the app does not show pending transactions - this feature should be added.

I have. So called Premier account, but it does no have any benefits. When I go to the local branch for services I end up doing everything myself.
