They refreshed the UI and forgot some basic functions like editing and removing a Paynow payee; you can only add and not remove or edit to verify details.

On top of that the app does not update the statement payment due despite the payment already done.
Maybe instead of doing fancy superficial changes, you should focus on updating the information whether the statement was paid or not !

As a loyal HSBC user, I really appreciate the features of this app. However, I’ve noticed that some versions of the app currently do not offer a Chinese language option. I would like to suggest adding Chinese (Simplified/Traditional) to all regional versions of the app. This would be incredibly helpful for the global Chinese community. Thank you!

Useless
The most frustrating bank to deal with and disconnected to customer journeys. Blocks payments incorrectly, despite regular recurring payers. Fraud alerts are false but then spend hours trying to speak to someone to unblock my accounts. I give up.

Customer service is useless
Global transfer not working. Systems gives an error reference but no one knows what it means or how to solve your problem.

Cannot access my accounts. HSBC Has become worse over the last 3 years, maybe consider looking at your people running it now!
Horrible app bad design and forcing upgrade
Can’t believe this app force updates otherwise you can’t use it. Unless it is a safety bug the app should not force updates! Extremely horrible! No one need you to tell what to do and when to do it. Away from this bank too! Horrible exchange rates

Card controls
Instead of always blocking cards, a transaction deemed suspicious can be flagged in the app with a push notification and request the user to confirm if it is genuine or not. Also finer-grained toggles like disallowing international in-store transactions or enabling online for 1 hour, etc. This stuff isn’t hard (other banks provide it) if you really care about security and customers.
