This application is a tool for capturing and analyzing HTTP and HTTPS network traffic. It allows you to inspect packet data, preview various file types like HTML, JavaScript, and images, and store historical records of your network activity. The app works by setting up a local VPN and proxy server to direct traffic for analysis.
To capture and parse HTTPS traffic, you need to install a certificate provided by the application. The app will guide you through this process. Once the certificate is installed and trusted, you can begin capturing and analyzing encrypted traffic.
The application is free to download and use, but it does offer in-app purchases and may display advertisements. These may unlock additional features or provide an ad-free experience.
All HTTP data captured by the software is stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded to any external servers, ensuring your privacy and data security. You can also choose to export captured packet content for further analysis or record-keeping.
The application's CA key and certificate are dynamically generated and stored locally within the app's sandbox, meaning they cannot be shared between different users or devices. If you reinstall the application, the history may cause the certificate to become invalid, and you may need to manually delete and regenerate it.
