Doesn’t work for me

My mom has this game on her phone and let my kids play it. They enjoyed the game and so I downloaded it to my phone. I’ve downloaded and deleted it three times in hopes it’ll work but each time I try it again it still will not work. It will just be stuck on a page with Hugo sitting in the cart and the high score board behind him showing 000. If someone could tell me how to fix this issue, that would be great. If not, I’m keeping this a one star review.
