We love Hum
Hum has been a fun excellent way for my kids to learn to brush their teeth properly! The dentist always gives them compliments every time they go in for their six months to check ups on how well they’re brushing!

From fighting to get my kid to brush his teeth, and him brushing for two seconds when finally compliant, to last night, he brushed his teeth two times with the app, because of the gamification of the process. I hear the app is ceasing in December? 😭

This game can be kind of frustrating to get the camera to work where you need it to, but we’ve finally gotten used to it.

I love it, but since I ever switched to my new iPhone (17) the camera access isn’t in settings anymore, and it’s not asking! Please fix this bug.

Not working and no support
App was working and suddenly stopped. Shows that worlds are downloading but fails when it gets to 100%. Have tried deleting and reinstalling. Called customer service and they don’t know if the app is even being supported any longer. Very sad as we were using this everyday and my younger child has one but hasn’t even used it yet.

We keep trying to download the world‘s over and over again and we get to 100% and it says failed.

Not working
We love this app and the features it offers (which I would give this app 5 stars). This app helps motivate my kiddo in practicing good hygiene habits and encourages her with all the world levels and masks. Unfortunately, we have not been about to access the app. It keeps giving me errors upon opening it. We have deleted the app and reinstalled it in hopes we could login again, however, we can’t even get pass the “agree” tab now because it keeps saying there’s trouble with downloading some of the files (which is the reason for the 2 stars). Not sure what’s changed that we are unable to access it now, but we are bummed about not being able to use this app… Please fix this app so we can use it again.

Discontinued
I’m dismayed to report that this product was discontinued. I bought a bunch of them a while back and just ran out, and you can’t find the toothbrush anywhere. Apparently you can use different brush heads in the electric one, but the electric one I had went swimming and met its demise. It was an amazing product. One of a kind and incredibly effective. I am very sad to see it go and not have anyone else step into this niche.

Used to work
We used to love Hum kids for my 3-5 year old. It was a really fun way to get her to want to brush her teeth and helps her practice with good habits! Unfortunately it rates you on if you did a “good” job. It uses the camera to sense where the toothbrush is in her mouth. The problem is it doesn’t always capture it correctly and so she will get a negative score! Which she gets really sad. I can honestly talk her out of that sadness. BUT NOW she can’t even open new levels unless she has A PERFECT SCORE! So we are stuck unable to continue. She’s upset, I’m upset. We loved this app but now it’s just not worth the tears.
