Great Tool!

I have 2 children with ADHD and this has been a great way to organize and incentivize them. Installation and set up was easy and it hasn’t slowed down their devices like some parental control apps. Both my children and myself love this app!

Customer service sucks.

I’ve been trying to get a hold of somebody in customer service for over a week now with no response. I have emailed and I have called, both several times. I was charged $89 and I don’t know why I didn’t even know what this app was. I did not do the free trial and I cannot find where to cancel. It does not show that I have a subscription through my email or through my iPhone so I don’t know what else to do. I would not recommend!!

Not User Friendly

Locked all my son’s apps before finishing the set up. He finished all his tasks and the apps are still locked. We paid for the premium subscription. I don’t know how to take it off! I’ve gone through all the settings in the all on his iPad and my iPhone. After uninstalling, it is still locking his apps!

Can subscribe monthly

I don’t have $169 to subscribe for a year. There used to be an option to subscribe monthly. We can’t use this app because of this. My kids were to young when we tried it before so I canceled but we want to try again and can’t

Arnaque

J’ai résilié au bout des 7jours mais j’ai quand même été débité de 79euros😡😡😡😡😡

FAQ

What does Joon do?

Joon is a gamified chore tracker designed to motivate children, particularly those with ADHD and other neurodevelopmental challenges, to complete daily tasks and build routines. It uses a video game where completing assigned 'Quests' earns in-game currency for a virtual pet, fostering independence and responsibility.

How does Joon motivate children?

Children are motivated by caring for a virtual pet called a Doter. To feed, wash, and grow their Doter, they must first complete the daily tasks assigned by parents. Successful task completion earns coins, which unlock game features and progress, making chores fun and rewarding.

Is Joon free to use?

The application is free to download and use with in-app purchases. While the core functionality of assigning tasks and managing a virtual pet is available, additional features or in-game items may require purchase.

What age range is Joon for?

Joon is designed for children aged 6 to 12 years old. This age range is targeted because it aligns with the developmental stage where establishing routines and learning basic responsibility through engaging methods can be highly effective.

Can Joon help with specific conditions?

Yes, Joon is specifically recommended for motivating neurodivergent children, including those with ADHD, ASD, ODD, General Anxiety, or Depression. It aims to help these children focus, stick to daily routines, and develop essential life skills.
