About

Some evenings you don't need advice. You just need to talk. Hum is a voice-first place to do exactly that. No photos, no feeds, no real names — just your voice and someone else's, for a few honest minutes. There's a reason talking helps. A worry kept in your head stays vague and runs in circles. Said out loud to another person, it becomes something you can actually look at — clearer, smaller, easier to handle. You hear yourself think. You get a little perspective. You close the app steadier than you opened it. That's what Hum is for. "Hum" is the sound you make when there's nothing in particular to say — and it also means "us." To hum is to be together without needing a reason. How it works: Each evening, for a few hours, Hum opens. That window is Golden Hour. — Pick a name and an avatar. Your real identity stays yours. — During Golden Hour, you're matched with someone through the topics you both care about. — Talk. Low stakes, no pressure to perform. — If it was a good conversation, Connect — only if you both choose to — and keep it going with voice notes. You don't have to be okay. You don't have to have a story. You just have to show up and speak. No camera. No real name. Just a voice, a stranger, and a few honest minutes. Open Hum this evening. Leave with a clearer head. What's New in Hum

1.0.8

More ways to find each other. Choose the languages you speak when you arrive. Send a voice into the sky from Home — even before the evening, when Hum opens the way — and keep a little history when a request expires. Drawing together goes further too: a steadier line, a voice beside it, and a better chance of finding someone at the other end. Fewer interruptions. Safer retries. And when a new voice is waiting, Connections tells you again.
