Does not show your location

Needs your location marked so you can judge incoming weather precisely. Currently it’s just a guess unless you zoom way in on the map. 👎🏼

Alerts do not work

The whole reason I tried this app was that I wanted a real time alert for rain as I sometimes have expensive astrophotography equipment outside. I paid for a subscription and set up alerts. It is literally raining as I write this, and the app did nothing.

Useless unless you buy it

Other free apps offer far more information, and this one is deliberately limited. This app often has issues connecting to the server, constantly nags you to subscribe, and the most recent change to the free version removed radar coverage for my town.

Not great, never syncs

Before I paid for the app it worked no problem. The moment I paid the map does not sync. I have to keep manually turning off map then back to 2 hours to sync it. I set up notifications correctly to only give me major rain but no….it beeps on drizzle no matter what setting I have. I’m asking for a refund but I doubt I’ll get it. Subscription cancelled. Waste of good money. Back to the free met office app for me.

Desperately seeking

Attention! Waaaay over the top with notifications, which are always “outdated”. Can’t see how I can reduce these so the app has got to go.

Privacy issues

Please don’t use an app that tracks you even when not using the app. Egregious behavior should not be rewarded. Why ddi you need to surrender your privacy to see if it will rain?

Slow

To notify me that rain is coming it’s fair. On my first storm when i try to see the radar there was nothing and it takes forever to upload info. 2 other app i have had the info right away. Not worth the money.

打开雷达图或者卫星雷达图，加载需要等很久才能显示图层，播放完整动画就更久甚至需要等数分钟。平移画面会出现分割图块始终加载不出来，行政底图加载也慢，雷达图层加载也慢，网络优化有待提高。

Like the fact I can use the app in Europe as well. Took time to get the map view I wanted playing with the settings.

Disappointing

This is like a half finished app . There does not seem to be a starting tutorial ( if there is I have not found it). The opening radar map is stuck much of the time and does not load well. It all seems half cooked.

Hi, sorry to hear about your experience! A few things that might help: We do have tutorials! There's an onboarding guide on first launch, plus a short animated tour of the main features. If you missed it, go to App Settings > Show the Tour Again. A detailed guide for each option is also available in App Settings > Guide. As for the map freezing, this looks like it may have been a temporary backend issue on our end that has since been resolved. Could you kindly try the app again and let us know if it still happens?
