To many issues with the app, not the nicest support team sometimes, and i paid for a year subscription that they refused to refund after only using it for a month lol. Was able to port my number out at least.

App won’t open, keeps crashing
This app sucks! When I try to open it, it just crashes. I tried rebooting my phone and deleting/adding the app but nothing works. Waste of money since I paid for lifetime subscription.

Depuis les dernières mises à jour (iOS 26.6.1 et récente mise à jour de Hushed, impossible d’ouvrir l’application, elle se ferme automatiquement. J’ai une notification que des gens m’écrivent au travail, mais impossible de les consulter et de répondre. J’ai tout fait, redémarrage etc., rien à faire. Cela cré un gros doute sur la fiabilité de l’application.

I really enjoy using Hushed it’s a reliable app and has been very useful for me. However, the notification badge stopped working last month and hasn’t recovered. I’ve followed every single troubleshooting step your team provided, sent all the requested screenshots, and yet the badge still doesn’t update when new messages arrive.

my credits are missing
some of my credit value is missing. they deleted it when i started a subscription. support said there is nothing they can do because that is how the system works. they have no option to issue any credits as compensation. there was no warning that my money would disappear when i sign up to the subscription.

I moved to a small town in February, and started a computer house call business. I got a Hushed number so I could have something with a local area code that was hardware independent, which means I don’t have to miss calls and texts if my phone goes kaput. Business is starting to thrive. Best $4.99 a month I ever spent.
Apple accounts require SMS OTP, but support VoIP. A second number gives me the advantage of obscurity, with a number that doesn’t show up in White Pages, Intelius, LexisNexis, or Experian. I created an unhackable password for Hushed, and a secret email that obscures the account. Hushed requires email OTP, and I’m not logged into it, so there’s no session cookie to steal.
I turned off FaceTime and iMessage, and was able to remove my real cell number from my Apple ID with Hushed to satisfy the requirement. I created recovery codes so my password can’t be changed in a browser, as well as Stolen Device Protection. Anyone who wants access to my Apple account would have to kidnap me.

Scam
So I want to send a message and it said that it was couldn’t be sent because it was being sent to another country. No, it was not. I was sending it from my home state to my home state. So this app is useless and I paid for something I’m not getting
Horrible text sending rate
I got this app hoping for something that worked better for me than the Burner app. The amount of texts I send that never go through to the recipient is mind boggling and driving me crazy. If I write a text that’s a little long or has paragraphs, it doesn’t go through but it also doesn’t notify me so I have no idea if texts are sending. BEGGING the app developers to work on this glitch.

Cant receive text or send it out. Cant make and receive calls even after I had paid. Please refund me my money
Incorrect pricing
The payment screen is extremely misleading. I was purchasing a line for 30 days for $7.99 however it was charged at &12.99. They stated it was due to the exchange rate however they should be showing the correct price on their website. I then needed to top up and bought a $5 credit which was then increased to $7.99 due to the exchange rate but then I wasn’t allowed to use the credit towards my line.

Does NOT work
Paid for a weekly subscription but the app is not allowing me to select a phone number. Online support was worthless and did not solve the issue nor provide a refund. Therefore, I’ve paid for nothing.
