Terrible UI
I guess it does most of the functions it’s supposed to, but the UI is terrible.

Guest/Renter Mode Needed
IAquaLink works well but there is no guest mode or Renter mode for people to use. Guest and Renter should not have the ability to modify system settings. Developers could easily add a guest mode or give access to mode. Feels like they got a little lazy with this app
Web side of the app is AWFUL
Going on 5 years now with this system, and it’s hands down one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. The webpage side of the app freezes CONSTANTLY and gets stuck in a waiting for connection loop so you have to manually reset the thing every 5 minutes. Changing a schedule can take upwards of an hour simply because of how awful this app is. I dread having to change my schedule every summer because of it. I finally gave up after manually resetting it 5 times tonight while trying to adjust the schedule and went to bed.

User interface for iAquaLink feels like it was written in 1990’s and never updated. Why are they not willing to improve it? Many functions buried in a separate ancient web interface.

Not intuitive
Right out of the 70’s. Is this the best tech for pools? Yuck.
Basic but reliable
The system is generally reliable and has decent basic features. I don’t like that you have to go to a separate website that feels like it was built in the 90’s to program schedules, or how long it takes to do simple tasks there, but the daily items work well.
Meh app, but it works….
The app is just meh at best. It does work, but super clunky when making schedules and other backend stuff. The controlled are slow and the system itself goes down periodically, which is not a knock on the app, but the infrastructure behind the app. Idk….its 2026, we should have better stuff by now.
Unable to use
Says pwd requirements changed and to update the app. There is no update option with a new install. As useful as a three dollar bill.
Great pool app
This Poole app is really good. You have full control of every pump and every waterfall you put in your pool the spa mode really good. It’s really good with heating and the jets. I really like this app. That is why I gave it five stars.🔥🔥🔥
Not connecting to web/ poor customer care
Have used this app for 4 years and have been quite happy with it. 10 days ago it stopped connecting with the web so now we cannot adjust the schedule. I reached out for assistance right away and still have not heard back.
Ok but showing age and limits

Update—Turns out Firewalla’s ad blocker started to block prod.zodiac-io.com. Fixed it by allowing traffic here.
I stopped being able to see my setup under “My Systems” today. Updated the app and am still unable to see it. I can verify that the device is connected and sending traffic by examining my Firewalla network. I’m also unable to login to the web browser portal.

New system
App needs updating to a more modern style need more control over bubbler valves and lighting need to be able to adjust volume intensity or color. Also need to be able to adjust schedules and do things very quickly with the app. The app is very outdated and more like Dos controls.
Tech support issues
It is nice to be able to control the pool and monitor pool from the app. However I have experienced some issues with it connecting and when trying to get a hold of tech support they are experiencing a “high volume of calls” and then ask you to call back at different time then hangs up on you. This would go on for several hours- which is frustrating

Lost connection with latest update
Aqua Link updated their software and my system is no longer compatible so the app is worthless to me. Reached out to Aqua Link for help and never heard back.
Everything you’d hope for.
Most apps try too hard to give you a lot of extra stuff you don’t need. This app simply delivers everything you do need.
Good when it works
Half the time I go to turn on my pool and it is in error I have to reset my breakers. The app is just okay because you have to go to the web to make changes and it is not mobile friendly.
