Orientation problems
I bought this because it was the most expensive, so I figured it was the best. Didn’t give it much of a chance though. I want the thick strings at the top and couldn’t figure a way to do that, so I went to another one
Chanting the Psalms
If your needs are simple, as mine are, iAutoharp serves the purpose. I use it for chord accompaniment to chanting the Psalms. In the future, I hope the developer will add a sustaining feature for smoother transitions from one chord to another.
Fun and nice but limited
I love playing this but I would love it more if I could use audiobus to record it and I would love it most if I could record the midi output.
Spoiled by poor sampling
It's a pity that this programme which has some some good features is spoiled by the poor sampling of the harp sound. What should be bright and clear tones sound as if they're being heard through muffled curtains. This results in a muddy and lacklustre sound.
As I say this is a pity since the concept is good and the chord selections impressive. I was disappointed to have paid almost £2 on this. It it certainly isn't worth that and I wouldn't recommend it without a dramatic improvement in tonal quality.

Great Great but room for improvement
This Autoharp is as good as a q cord or omnichord with one exception...it just isn't loud enough. Sound just went out on it. I wish they could fix the sound on it!
Don't buy this app
No sound when strumming the strings. Links to the developer website and app support are dead. Huge waste of money.
Doesn't sound like an autoharp
I play the autoharp. This doesn't sound at all like an autoharp.
One bad music app
This app is practically unusable. The sounds is poor, in comparison with a real Autoharp. The responsiveness of the touch is laggy and imprecise. Don't buy this-it's their bad. Very disappointing!
Useless for making music
This app exhibits a significant lag between the stroke of the string and the sound. This makes it useless as a musical instrument. I don't expect an app to be as responsive as an analog instrument, but the lag is unforgivable - especially since there is another Autoharp app that works great (and costs only .99)! I had to buy the cheaper app after discovering how useless this app was.
The lag on this instrument makes this app inlay suitable for an instrument tuner.
On the positive this app has nicer graphics than the cheaper app. But looks don't make up for the broken nature of this app.

needs a lot of work
the concept is good. the interface is actually quite good too.
but it doesn't play well and sounds like junk.
the strumming is laggy and sometimes completely unresponsive.
and the sounds produced sound like banging on a crummy synth piano.
it seems as though the developer doesn't really know what an autoharp sounds like.
i hope it evolves into a playable instrument.
until then, this is like a proof of concept.
save your money until they decide to make a musical instrument.

Omg
This thing needs a prayer and some volume bad. Not even good if it was free buy the ikota insted
Sound quality
Cool idea but ... terrible sound quality as compared to some other related iPhone apps.
Bad latency!!!
Horrible latency!!! Way worse than most other iPhone instruments! It's useless as is. Fix the latency and I'll up the stars! Good UI.
Not quite there :0(
Liked the idea of an Autoharp on the iPhone hoped it would be like a mini omnichord but no such luck. Sound needs sorting and the latency problem. Doesn't follow standard Autoharp chord bar layout. Need the facility to change all chord buttons to choice and to be able to change string area to the right hand side to improve playability for UK style of play. Hope future updates will make this a worthwhile purchase and not a wish I'd not bothered - potential exists but needs urgent work.
