Do not buy
I purchased what was supposed to be a lifetime purchase for $79. But it turns out it’s a yearly subscription and even with that the limit is 30 albums unless you purchase another segment. Complete rip off. Stay away, run for the hills and don’t look back.

Why not be up front about it?
I downloaded your app, & was loving it, until I got to the 30 CD limit & got your ransom note. A real shame, I like your app, & if you'd just tell us up front we'd gladly pay for the software. But a sneak ransom demand? Nope, into the trash you go. Such a shame...
Finally an excellent App!
I moved over from Windows where I was using a free App, which although good was reliant on you filling everything in. Now on the iPad and using its Camera I find this is a pleasure to use. Forgot that I would have to pay but even so it’s worth the money as a one off purchase.
Simple but powerful
It is simplicity itself to add a disc to your database: tap on + and you are asked if the disc has a barcode. If you tap ‘yes’ the app opens your camera to scan it. It then displays the artwork and details. If they are correct you tap to approve and the disc data is stored. Then you’re on to your next disc. On the rare occasions that scanning the barcode draws a blank you can capture the front artwork with your camera from within the app and enter as much information as you need into the listed domains. Click save and you’re done. I have a collection of approximately 10,000 CDs and I reckon I’ll get them all scanned in with this app fairly swiftly. Other apps I have tried have fallen at the first hurdle requiring you to find and import artwork from the web and accessing fewer sources to identify discs. ICollect music is simple but powerful and I am pleased I came across it.
