Trialling this app
Tha app is quite straightforward and easy to use. How good is it in protecting you? Hard to know. Not many reviews online and they usually focus on features and ease of use. It would be interesting to see if Trend Micro could get some people who have been hacked/compromised and see what happens when they input their personal info and do a scan. Maybe one of the tech security sites could also do an experiment like this. UPDATE June 30 2024 This app said my three emails were fine BUT the site Have I Been Pwned said that one of my emails was leaked in 2017. I sent a screenshot of their assessment to TM and subsequently uninstalled the app.

Language Setting Please
A language setting in the App can be very helpful. Now it just follow the system language and cannot be changed in the App. Also, it will be even better if we can have simplified Chinese for this App. The subscription covers 2 or 6 devices but it can only watch over 1 ird and 1 passport, 5 emails, which doesn’t really make sense when I subscribed for 6 devices. Being able to watch over more ID and ird will be much better.

Automatically detects if your information is compromised
It gives you a very detailed report and alarm whenever your informational is compromised
Very difficult to activate and use
I have Identity Security but it doesn’t secure anything. All it does is offer upgrades to more of their Trend Monitor products that you need new subscriptions to.

App Fails to Respect User Privacy - Unresponsive Support
There wasn't an option for me to delete my personal data from their system, which is a critical violation of my privacy rights.
I understand that issues arise, and to that end, I made numerous attempts to resolve this matter by contacting their privacy officer. Unfortunately, my efforts were in vain. I was met with complete silence, with no acknowledgement or response from their team, even after multiple attempts.
This persistent lack of response not only shows a disregard for user privacy but also a serious deficiency in their customer service. It raises a lot of red flags about the app's data management policies, making me question whether it should even be available on the App Store.
As a consumer, I strongly believe that we should be able to trust the applications we download, knowing that they value our personal data as much as we do. Unfortunately, this application has failed to meet this essential expectation.
Given these circumstances, I would recommend a major caution when considering this app and support its removal from the App Store until they demonstrate a commitment to improving their data handling and customer service.

Assumes you still have access to your email account
Having recently been hacked and lost administrator privileges in Google, all of my emails have been hijacked. This application sends a verification code to those addresses or no option to send a link via sms or another email ie to the hackers…
Not working
Every time I put my details in it says error with a code and will not send to my emails

Good when it works
Have a paid subscription, and the app keeps losing my data. I have had to delete and reload the app 4 times over the last 2 months.
As I don’t check it everyday, I have no idea how many days my protection has been compromised.
The app needs to be more reliable when you are being charged for protection.
Have been using Trend products for numerous years with no other apparent issues, so please rectify this issue.

Concerning
I’ve been a subscriber for a long time. At random and without notice, all of my monitored data has disappeared. I’ve double checked to ensure that I’m logged in. I have no idea when or why this occurred. The loss of all data, hence leaving me with 0% coverage for ID security, is seriously concerning and I have doubts about this service’s handling of data, unless one of their updates somehow resulted in a deletion of data en masse.

Doesn’t work
Can’t verify email address. Tried twice on iPhone and it doesn’t allow you to enter the 6 digit code
Felt duplicated service on security app
As a Trendmicro customer already I found this app duplicated what I should already have covered. When checking email it suggested changing website logins and passwords but they were websites we have no links to. So why would you go into dubious website to update information that was never valid anyway. Just odd so much private and significant personal information would be requested in one place online...especially via an app..when you have no idea where it is ending up. Just comes across as a bad image for your brand that works off customer fears to have a bundle of info gift wrapped and handed over. Uninstalled.

It’s saying all my info is stolen
It is saying all my info was stolen...
But it won’t even let me verify my email addresses that have been stolen and I’m doing it from the device I am using that I sent the request from! And I received it here on this same device too!!! So there is definitely a problem with this app already!! Which is truly disappointing and that makes me not really want to go further if I Alrdy have a darn problem on barely the first step!!!
