Dear rawrr x3, First of all, we thank you for following the tutorial completely. A "snapshot" doesn't equal an account. The reason why the app needs two snapshots is because the app is comparing two "lists" to detect unfollowers and new followers. Basically, a snapshot is a data point. Or, to be precise, it's a saved copy of a user’s Instagram relationship data at a specific moment in time. Without the second snapshot (data point), the app cannot find unfollowers. Think about this: The app checks who was in the first follower list but not in the second list. The people who are missing in the second list become the unfollowers. You still have access to people who don't follow you back and over 10 categories of insights with just one snapshot in the Connections tab. There are many other unsafe apps that let you enter your Instagram username and password and check unfollowers using unauthorized methods. They look really simple and quick, but our UnfollowPeek is taking a completely different approach to keep you safe from losing your account. Please wait a few more days and import another snapshot (again, it’s not another account. It’s data files) and see how UnfollowPeek shows unfollowers while protecting your privacy. Please also take the time to update your review, since we sincerely care about customer satisfaction and all of our customers, including you.
Large accounts not supported

We’re sorry to hear that UnfollowPeek does not currently meet your needs for large accounts. UnfollowPeek can process over 50,000 users in both the followers and following lists. However, some calculated categories are intentionally limited to displaying up to 1,000 users because the app runs completely on-device. This design prioritizes user privacy and offline processing, but it also makes certain large-scale calculations more resource-intensive for very large accounts. If you could clarify your specific goal (for example, viewing users who do not follow you back or tracking unfollowers), we may be able to suggest the best way to use the app for your case. For most users, the current 1,000-user display limit for unfollowers, not-following-back, and new followers covers typical usage scenarios. That said, we are continuously working on performance improvements and plan to expand support for larger accounts as device capabilities improve. We’re sorry to hear that the data displayed in UnfollowPeek doesn’t match what you see on Instagram. UnfollowPeek relies entirely on the official Instagram data files you export yourself. Since Instagram changed the format of following.json in October 2025, following counts may differ from what appears on Instagram. This is a known limitation of on-device apps that process user data privately without servers. You likely saw the note explaining this at the top of the “Following” category in the app. Unlike other services, UnfollowPeek is designed to protect your privacy, keep your account safe, and comply with Instagram’s Terms of Use, which prohibit automated information collection. Some inconsistency in the “Following” category may occur as a result. Please contact support@aurumspire.com if you have any questions.
