Betman blocks and records connection attempts right on your iPhone. When protection is on, Betman runs a small LOCAL VPN (a packet tunnel inside the phone). It sends nothing to any server. Connection attempts that try to leave the phone are stopped inside the phone, and only where they were going (IP, port, and the website name from plain DNS lookups) is recorded on the device. • Blocks on the device: while protection is on, IPv4, IPv6 and DNS attempts go into Betman's local tunnel and are discarded. • Shows where they were going: destination address, port, protocol, time, packet size and readable website names. • Records stay on the phone: no server, no account, nothing sent out. Clear them any time. • 17 languages. Honest limits Betman does not and cannot read message contents, names or contacts. It cannot tell which app sent a packet, who actually received anything, or the path in between. When protection is off, Betman sees no traffic. A blocked attempt is not proof that data leaked. Blocks what leaks. If it can't, it tells you.
