Unable to buy ticket in app
Tried to buy ticket in an app, after filling the info, an error popped out, since servers are shared with web I was unable to buy the tickets on web as well. Had to pay 5€ for 7minutes ride by cash in ticket office.
However this wasnt first occasion, crashes are pretty often, you can call yourself fortunate if you manage to actually buy a ticket in the app

Great well designed app
I really like this app. It is one of the clearest and most straightforward rail app of any country I have used.
Brilliant in its simplicity, it allows purchase of any ticket, including season and rover type tickets. I love the way that it shows a map of any planned journey, along with full details of the selected trains(s). It also allows to to pick a seat when making a reservation. And if you already have the ticket it allows you to choose and book a seat reservation.
Also allows you to pay card or Apple Pay.
In short it is brilliant.

Thank you for translating the app to English. I have been visiting the Tatras for years, and I do not speak Slovak unfortunately. This will make bookings much easier.

This app feels like a time machine—straight to 1999. Back when engineers threw together interfaces without a second thought for design. Even early dot-com websites had a friendlier UX than this mess.

Kritický bug.
Padne okamžite pri otvorení, aj po najnovšom update appky, na najnovšom iOS. Už mesiace táto appka vôbec nefunguje.
Nefunguje na iOS 18.

Nemal som zatiaľ žiadne problémy s aplikáciou. Omnoho praktickejšie než nosiť papierové lístky.
Most bugs fixed by now
I have been using the app a few years now, so most bugs have hopefully been fixed. I still have one to report - a train’s delay is only showed before its *scheduled* (not actual) arrival at the final stop, then it’s labeled as “arrived at destination” so one has no way of figuring out how late they are if they need to change to a different train at this stop.

Very bad app
I bought 3 tickets just 3 minutes before the train should leave the station and app was saying 4 minutes delayed and it was 180 hours ,so we did not travel and they sdid not give my money back.Do not use it anymore .They do not update their app properly.

Use predaj.zssk.sk instead.
Much more streamlined. I can buy tickets in few clicks. Safari remembers my credit card number. On other hand this app is clunky and as many mentioned Apple Pay doesn’t work. It authorizes my Cc and immediately issues a refund.

Dobrá aplikácia, ale už nejakú dobu sa nedá zaplatiť. Platobná brána sa nenačíta a zasekne sa pri načítavaní.
Jednoducha aplikacia, neumoznuje pridat listok do apple wallet
Jedna sa v podstate o kópiu webu, nie je tu žiadna pridaná funkcionalita. Dúfal som, že bude možné lístok aspoň pridať do Apple Wallet, ale bohužiaľ nie je to možné.
Still no apple wallet support even after 3 years
they show you apple pay feature at the checkout, but then the payment keeps failing repeatedly. Must use card payment only, fill out the form. Not user friendly. Also cannot add the ticket to apple wallet, which is a standard feature these days in all traveling apps. Otherwise not bad, but please do not offer apple pay option in your UI, if it does not work. It is confusing and frustrating. 2 out of 5. Thanks!

Rubbish app
Trip from Budapest to Kosice can’t be bought online as it always comes up with an error. Can’t add a return date, it only shows an outbound journey. Absolutely useless.
Mezinarodni listky nelze koupit
Dle vyjádření SZZK nelze pomoci aplikace kupovat mezinarodni jizdenky. K tomu se musi pouzit predaj.szzk.sk, ktery rovněz negunguje tak jak ma a platebni brana po zaplaceni listku spadne.
Uz take mezinarodni listek ani nezobrazi. Tak je nam ta apka uplne na h....! Koulněte radeji na mujvlak ČD apku kde muzete kupovat jizdenky vesele i na Slovensku.
