What's New in Idle Deepcore

1.5.5

August 24, 2026

THE FLEET DOES NOT SLEEP Your rockets keep their loop running while you are away. You come back to a fleet in flight, not a parked one. YOUR MUSIC KEEPS PLAYING Switching planets and prestiging no longer pause your background music or video. More reliable space Expedition rewards can no longer be swallowed, an orphan base no longer borrows another planet's orbit, shuttle lanes reappear after a seed change, and the launch pad announces which columns a base will accept. Bases and prestige, straightened out Base storage now grows with the machines you install, a dome already funded says so, helping your own corporation no longer starts your cooldown, and prestige can no longer run twice at once — which used to cost your relic set. Smarter automation Cargo launches can now help whoever needs it without naming a target, the activity label lands on the action that actually fired, and a switch can turn off the tab's animated cables.

Forced ads

Forced ads on the very first moving upgrade, coupled with $6 to permanently remove ads on a small idle indie game is a terrible first impression… remove the forced ads and I’ll reconsider the rating

Prestige button doesn’t work

Probably in the works to remove it to make the ad boost button bigger lol

Response from developer

Fair hit, and thanks for the nudge (we laughed at the boost-button line). This was a real bug on that build, not a monetization choice — the prestige requirement couldn't be met because of a smelting/recipe issue. It's fixed in current versions. Please update and give it another go; we'd love to earn back the star.

Good game

Living the game so far. My only complaint is that it takes a little too long to prestige the first time.

Response from developer

Thank you for playing. That's useful feedback — the first prestige should feel reachable, not like a slog. We've been tuning early progression and added a prestige hint/tutorial around that first milestone, and we're still adjusting the curve. If it still feels long on the current version, tell us roughly how many hours it took and we'll factor it in.

Really fun but…

Loving this game so far, but I’ve never had an idle game overheat my phone to the point of charging being disabled until it cools down. Some optimization is desperately needed.

Response from developer

Thank you, and this feedback is spot on. Overheating is never acceptable for an idle game. Since that build we've cut a lot of wasteful per-frame work and moved progression to a bounded offline catch-up, so the game does far less while it's open and simply credits your progress when you return — no need to leave the screen running. Please update and let us know if your device runs cooler; we're continuing to optimize.
