Hey Dev!

This is a very cute little game :3 and I'm sorry about what the first reviewer said. So if it's alright i'd like to give some constructive critisism. First thing I noticed is the loading? Starting up screen? What ever it is the art seems very ai generated which is pretty off putting. Secondly I'm not sure about the count down every time you discover a new fish. It kind of ruins the flow of the game. Thirdly i feel like the game would really benefit with more incteractivity. Like maybe you could talk to the seagull? Have some fun Missions or do more things? I've only downloaded the game today so I'll keep you updated with more feedback if you like :3

Hi, Flying Pinecone! It’s great to get feedback from a player in Australia! Thank you so much for taking the time to provide this feedback. As for the AI-generated art, I agree—I didn’t have the resources to do better for now :'(. As for the animation of newly caught fish, that’s something I’d like to make smoother , shorter and more dynamic. As for making the game more interactive—with missions and so on—that’s something I’m working on… but it’s taking a long time because I have a lot of performance bugs to fix! Thanks for your review—it's always a pleasure to read it! I'm sorry about the lag. I've been trying to optimize it for months... but it's so hard to get satisfactory results.

AI

The loading screen has blatant AI.. you’ve obviously got talented artists working on this. But you got lazy with the loading screens. So wouldn’t put it past this game to use AI on everything else. Seemed decent but the ai RUINED it for me 🤷🏻‍♀️ shame really.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. It’s a little harsh, but I understand. The non-pixel art portion has been revised for the next update. As for the AI, I try to avoid it as much as possible, but unfortunately, for certain elements where I’m not satisfied with what I’ve done, I’m trying to find an alternative that I like.

A few annoying things

It’s a good game but there are just a few annoying things one of them is the having to press the upgrade bitten every time another is having to watch the animation every time you get a new fish and the last is tat the setting still don’t save but it is still a really fun game

Hi, thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback! As for having to press the button every time, that's a valid point,I'll add a “x10” option to my to-do list. As for the settings, I'll try to fix that this summer!

Potential

I should be sayin 2 stars but i decided 3 as it has potential. Iv not played to much for a reason, it is very framey and laggy on the screen even though the FPS counter shows it being fine. It is painful on the eyes because of the lag (and no it is not a phone issue as every other game that is bigger and better looking then this game works fine).

The settings, they do not save when you exit out of them.

Other then these things it would be a really good game.

Hi, thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. For the laggy part, that’s something I’ve been working on for a long time now. Since this is my first game, there are a lot of things I did wrong at the beginning, so I’m reworking everything to try to optimize it. And as for the settings, I’ve been working on that as well, it will be fixed in upcoming updates.

Vibrates every time I upgrade

Settings still don’t save. I saw the review from a month ago and hoped it’d be fixed by now but it’s not. It’s very annoying and makes it hard to play the game.

Settings don’t save

Really annoying that setting changes don’t save, I don’t care for the vibration every time I upgrade. Will update review if this gets fixed
